This is the sad reality of this world and it's so horrible to think about. I look my age, a young teenager, but still have nasty men whistle and stare at me when I'm in a skirt. Even when I was showing the smallest bit of my stomach or cleavage, men literally barked and harassed me. I've realised it doesn't matter how old you are or what you're wearing, men will still be disgusting. I really hope that apology was sincere cos I don't know what to think at this point.

he said women deserve to be raped because of how they dress 8 years ago and said rape is an opportunity but he apologized today. BOC had reminded him about the comments when production started but he chose to do nothing about them

The fact that he was reminded about the tweets but chose to not say anything or apologise is a but disappointing. Sure it would have caused drama but addressing it, acknowledging how he was wrong or being independent and owning up to his mistakes would be more responsible and less messy then getting caught now. Actions should have been made when BOC mentioned them to him. This is still really messy but it was more irresponsible to just leave the comments as they were rather then take some sort of action. People shouldn't have been digging and stalking around his past like creeps but that doesn't excuse his actions. It was long ago but can still hurt and affect people, we don't know if he changed or not but that's a matter of opinion. You're allowed to forgive him, you're allowed to not forgive him, just don't pretend that he's an "innocent baby who didn't know better"

People have every right to forgive him and still stan him but idolising him saying he's an angel, victimising him and saying he's an "innocent baby" is childish, immature and weird.

Exactly cos people tend to forget that we don't know as much as we think we know about them and they usually have a persona that we as fans see.

Yes the comments were made 8 years but also, yes they can still affect the victims and others today.
Yes he coulld have a different mindset and think a lot more maturely but also, yes he could still think like that.
Think whatever you like but DON'T justify his actions.

If you want to forgive him, forgive him but acknowledge his actions which were disgusting and in no way right. Don’t drag people who don’t want to forgive him as we have every right to not want to forgive him as his comments were horrible. I don’t care if it was 8 years ago cos we don’t know if he really changed or not. This is my opinion but of course he could have a different mindset and not think like that anymore and I respect that. Everyone has their own opinion and their own feelings about this but don’t just blindly forgive him and say he did nothing wrong.
