What I'm getting from the summary, this lady marries a rich guy and has the FL with him, but steals all his money and starts her own company. The FL grows up in an orphanage and miserable, but ends up with a man who her mom sees as her first love. The FL's man disappears, bc of her mom, but she doesn't know and she really liked that man because it made her turn her life around.
So, what is the drama about? Revenge on mom who ruined FL life? There's no tags to give it away, I'm so confused. I love melodramas, but I'm unsure of the plot. Right now it seems like a backstory.
Seriously?! It's the Korean version of Elite? I've already watched the Indian version, I think I'm pretty tired…
I do hope they take a different route rather than waste money on a series they probably won't give a second season. It's kind of disappointing when they make a good kdrama with an open ending, but drop it.
Netflix is making elitè series again in korean language too. Idk they only added the crown in this story, let…

" Squid Game and Alice in Wonderland created the blueprint for this subgenre" I disagree as these are new, and not exactly the blueprint. Alice in borderland specifically started off as a manga and wasn't even the first to have the theme of "death game". In fact, there are many death game mangas, animes as well, out there so I wouldn't call the most popular the "blueprint".
I do like death games though and I agree with your ending statement, I tried to think about how I could possibly win these death games, but it's really about luck. I appreciate the Japanese "Werewolf Game" series as it does many point of views which I find is interesting and helps me think about the game more. There's actually a Japanese movie called "Judge" (2013) which I think you'd find interesting.
This is very drawn out, what could've been a 2 year flashback in 10-15 episodes was written to go to 30-35 episodes. I honestly don't understand the root of the reasoning behind the horrible actions of the characters, the actors and actresses could've played in more worthwhile kdramas and movies. It's really just a drawn out story to get viewership, I've honestly never seen such a low rating for a kdrama before.
I think it was trying to take a western film type approach to horror. Honestly, something you watch when you have nothing left. It was just gore and very underwhelming, made me very sleepy.
Great cinematography, but it's very boring. The cuts are so abrupt, I thought we went back into the past but it was just a time skip for a scene change.
the random cuts has become better or i just stopped noticing them as the episodes have continued lol
Yeah, I'm not used to such abrupt cuts. What do you think of the drama so far? Character wise, was there development and change that improved the quality of the drama? I honestly was so annoyed with the unreasonable treatment of him, so it made it hard to watch past episode 2.
There's a lot of new evidence that periods of fasting can be very beneficial. Some guy just won a nobel prize…
I know about fasting and I partake in it as well, however I think when it comes to idols, actors/actresses losing weight its never for the right reasons. You shouldn't have to lose weight to fit a role or be likable.
