I haven't started yet, I will binge watch it after it completes. Did some thing the son did after going to past that made his father crush on se Kyung if not then whole premise of this show is like a big joke paradox to me.
See even if the son didn't go to past his father would have had a crush on se Kyung in the past even after that he married his designated partner. So what's the need of your intervention in the first place. In every time travel game the more MC try to correct more he wrong himself and other innocent bystanders.
As I have not watched it yet I don't know what made the son go to past in the first place so I will change my comment in future. Even then time travel genre is so outdated now. We need more new revolution idea to revive this genre.
