Of course he becomes weaker after constantly saving/protecting others. But I agree that his fainting after the blood sacrifice thing felt more of a plot device (probably to let BS leave freely and even maybe to have FY and TH alone for her sacrifice and death scene)

I agree, hoping I understood your point correctly. But in the end, every drama's primary mission is to gain an audience and keep them hyped till the end.
Who is the audience, is decided by things like trailers, synopsis, the initial episodes, etc. Which promised us a story about BS and FY. So naturally I'm here for them. I don't mind side stories of other characters, but that needs a limit, too much is obviously gonna kill my hype.

From music to characters. Everything has been great except screentime. Too much of eternals useless arguments recently. And I'm sorry but second leads screentime is becoming absurd. FL and ML's first battle was rushed. ML's mourning was rushed. Yet we get half an episode of second couple doing same thing they've been doing since start.
While second couple are important, most viewers specially in China started this to watch the leads story.
That can be why heat index dropped.

Unhinged? What makes you say that? I'm new to drama and have no prior knowledge of either leads. I was only disappointed in how people responded to that hater, exactly because I've seen the praises for ARP.
Everyone praises both, but when a hater bashed them, almost everyone only defended BL. That's what I couldn't understand.
