It's a journey
Having watched Signal before this, I can’t help but compare. Both are different in a sense. Signal had more impactful flashbacks and every case was linked together but Life of Mars was more a journey, you’ll not only fall more in love with the characters’ personalities, but watching each of them grow for the better is so heartwarming. The climax builds up until the very end. It’s more lighthearted with sprinkles of humour and simpler cases. You just hope the team stays together. The ending is kinda sad, it depends on how you interpret it.
The only reason I wouldn't rewatch it because I've already watched the ending and it wouldn't be as good as the first time.

The best kdrama ending!
To be honest, this kdrama isn't one that you'll rewatch scenes over and over again. The more you watch it, the more you'll become more invested in the previous life's story. By the end, you'll be crying over their tragic fate, but you will feel so happy because the present healed all the pain.
I feel like they should've shown more of the past life because it's way more interesting than the present. The music suited the drama with a nostalgic tone.
I'll watch this kdrama for the ending.

Most realistic romantic drama
I loved how they showed the leads' different struggles and their amazing friendship that helped them through life.I've always wanted a friendship like that. Having someone always here for you through your ups and downs. Everything was very realistic: from their job struggles to relationship problems. There was nothing over dramatic. Their relationship growing from friends to lovers seems very realistic as well.
I love how the male lead is patient and caring. He fell in love with her strong and blunt personality. She knew everything about him and makes the best decisions for him. They're like Yin and Yang but fit so perfectly together. They're like chasing each other, never together at the right time.
People might think this is very slow but I really liked the pacing.

First drama I watched since 2010
When I watched this, I thought it was amazing. The killer made it intense, the main leads made it romantic, the female lead made it funny. My favourite thing about this show would be the build up to the first kiss. There was so much chemistry.
My second favourite thing is the music and the directing. The snippets at the end of the episode was the cherry on top. The music was very mystical like you were in a dream and the backgrounds were very fantasy like which heightened all the romantic scenes.
But everything after the first kiss was slow and predictable.
My comeback kdrama that made me addicted to kdramas.

This is the only drama I watched while it was airing.
I watched snippets of the first episode on Instagram and fell in love with the premise. So I continued watching it while it was airing and for the one time in my life I understood the pain of waiting for a week just for the next episode.I kept on watching the episodes that were already out for a week!!!
Ok. It was fluffy. And cute. But first and foremost, it was touched something in me that made me feel the same emotions that they were feeling:
I think it's because I understood how she felt when no one believed in her creations besides from the male lead. He appreciated and was in awe of her creations despite what others think. As a designer myself, I felt so overcome with emotions when someone appreciated her creations. Something I've always wanted for myself. When he couldn't convince the robot team to leave the female lead robot with him because of his lack of social skills and how he cried on her shoulder. I cried along with him because as a introvert myself, I felt the same every time I come back home since I couldn't socialise with others.
I was so invested in their romance that I cried of happiness and sadness along with them.
So many moments to rewatch. Probably the most underrated show I've watched.

Very simple storyline but a lot of cute moments
I thought the story about the kidnapper was too simple, not written intelligently at all. When they were both in danger I couldn't help laughing because it was too overdramatic. The music was too cheesy and the over exaggerated humour didn't fit well with me. It might fit well for some people like my mum.But other than that, it was filled with cute moments between the leads. Like the ones where you can't help but smile. One of the best chemistry.
Only rewatch it for some of the funny moments.

Interesting premise. So much potential but was explored poorly.
This drama is probably the worst drama out of all the Park Hye-Ryun dramas. The show's premise was very interesting in the first few episodes. The directing and the story was executed perfectly. But after the first few episodes, I realised there was a pattern. All the cases were linked to each of the character's danger. I found that very boring. It lasted throughout the whole drama until the last case. They also pulled a lot of fake outs. I knew the main characters weren't going to die so I wasn't really interested with the story.
The romance was not strong. It was a side theme.
I would watch the start and the end but everything in between is just filler cases.
But since it's a Park Hye-Ryun Drama, you're guaranteed to laugh out loud.

A waste of time
When I first started watching this show, I wouldn't say I loved it but it was meh. I thought it was quite messy, I didn't know where this show was going: reporting, breast cancer, family. After watching half of it, I couldn't push myself to watch another episode. It's so unnecessary to include breast cancer unless the writers just needed something to fill up the episodes. I really find the fighting between male leads, mums etc. so unnecessary. There were quite a lot of unnecessary filler scenes that I skipped. Finally, I had to drop it because I didn't have motivation to see what happens next. If this drama was 16 episodes instead of 24, I felt like I would've finished watching it.
I don't understand why the main girl would choose the hateful, stubborn male lead who is always mean to her rather than the gentle, kind and tall CEO 2nd male lead. The main girl kisses male lead while she's dating the 2nd male lead!! I do not support cheating.

Doctors risk their own health to save ours
I couldn't pull myself to watch the final episode because I didn't want it to end.The most beautiful part of this drama is the beautiful relationships between the doctors and patients and also between the 5 doctors. Every episode you'll guarantee to cry because of the sacrifices doctors are willing to make for their patients and because of the pain that patient's loved ones go through when they see the patients die. However, you'll guarantee to laugh as well because of the doctors' quirky personalities and friendship.
When I watched the first episode, I wasn't ready for so much sadness so I thought I couldn't keep watching it but when I watched the second episode, I became so addicted because of the doctors and I became very curious of what a doctor's day to day life is.
After watching this drama, I knew how important looking after your loved ones and yourself is. We need to protect ourselves from the virus in order to protect our doctors that risk their own health that fight everyday to save ours.
