Loved the first ep so far and the epilogue whaaat… IM SOLD! He’s been looking at her all the time and when…
Yup. It has a soft fresh feel. Loving the vibe. And also the fact that he's already noticing her! So cute that they show how in a small town people are bound to run into each other and notice each other. Its only in a city when we aren't expecting to come across someone we know that we tend to never notice the people around us.
Honestly the ending saved this series. I'm glad Na-bi finally made a decision. This whole time she was moping about and not doing anything and whining about how she already knows what's gonna happen so what's the point when unless I missed the part where she becomes a psychic, I'm sure she doesn't know her fate.
People are allowed to question their feelings for each other, they're also allowed to choose a road that may end up needing a U-turn or a detour. Like Do hyuk said, I also think it's important to have different experiences in life. Not just stick with the road taken by all.
Also her ending up alone would have been such lazy writing. That's like not even trying to solve the problems faced by the characters and ending the series with a 'and then they all went to therapy'. I like how in the end she's decided to stop being afraid of how things end so that she can enjoy them while they last.
PS: this is absolutely nothing like the webtoon. They just took the initial premise and ran with it. Which is why I'm okay with Na-bi picking PJE.
Omg yes. This is literally what Park Jae Eon's mother tells him in later episodes. Sometimes it can be so frustrating…
Hahaha, you're right. There's no hope left for that I guess. The storytelling is so slow I doubt they'll put anything between all the 5 million shots of leaves rustling and light glaring through windows.
I am invested in every other couple in the drama EXCEPT Nabi and PJE. These two honestly make me feel so annoyed…
Same, literally watching for the 2nd couples. I don't know if sol will end up with ji wan. Ji wan gave her a drunken half confession and sol very clearly said that jiwan shouldn't get her hopes up but I am afraid they're not gonna let them be happy in the end. At least we know how sol feels. But jiwan may still need time to fully understand her own feelings. 3 eps left, fingers crossed they figure it out by then.
Man i dropped after episode 2. I dont want my boi to be like that. Hahaha its new but as a guy cmon man. If you…
Omg yes. This is literally what Park Jae Eon's mother tells him in later episodes. Sometimes it can be so frustrating watching people have low self confidence when we don't even know why they have it in the first place! Like the writers should expand on why he doesn't see himself as someone worthy of love since on the surface he seems like a perfectly nice guy. Episode 7 out and still no clarity regarding why he is the way he is.
I had dropped this on ep 4 but just finished catching up. Gotta say the story is verrrrry slow. So better be ready with your finger poised over the screen to fast forward most of the longing looks and long scene transitions. Coming back to it, I'm glad they've strayed away from the webtoon but I don't think there's going to be any significant character development now in the last 3 eps. Which is disappointing. Cause it could have been great, a better character study than the original webtoon (because I genuinely found the ending of the webtoon so harsh) but we're gonna be stuck with the most common kdrama curse which is rushed endings. -_-
At least my take away from this drama is to realise that not everything can be perfect, like how Nabi's aunt said she wouldn't have been born if Nabi's Mom wasn't such a risk taker. And that living amongst all the imperfect things and enjoying life is more important than chasing the perfect job, man, house, etc.
Not sure if they'll expand on this sentiment or just bamboozle me in the end. Hoping for faster story telling but I doubt it. Since I've come this far I think I'll finish it.
Her private life has such a special place in my heart. Its got the perfect chemistry. Enemies to lovers without lowering either FL or ML's intelligence.
I was looking forward to the cast and supernatural plot, but this is like les misérables --- everybody is depressed…
I don't think so. The problems you've mentioned won't get resolved. Its more like something you can put in the background to stare at the pretty visuals. You could wait for it to finish airing, check out the spoilers and see if it interests.
I don't think I need to revisit dramas I've dropped because of the plot and characters. They are obviously not going to work for me. But I do keep track of dramas that I've dropped because I wasn't in the mood for it. They usually just go to my on hold list. Sky castle was one of them. I really love the drama but I had to put it on hold for a long time, like a year I think because the makjang was getting too intense. Other dramas that are on my on hold list are those that are still airing and I dropped it because it wasn't interesting. Usually after it ends airing I go through the spoilers and see if I want to finish it. I don't think watching dramas should be like homework where I have to force myself to give something that I don't like so many chances.
