Yuan Shaui waited 10 years lmao he didn't care about the cameras 😂
the show really went at a breakneck pace that i got used to. I felt like we left off such intensity with the lightning punishment during the tower scene, TTJ searching for her in the river, and then it kinda tapered off and things kinda started just happening. like i was still invested but i think something about the pacing felt off to me (probs due to cuts). the last few eps kinda felt like LSS was treading water. there were a lot of flashback scenes or explaining things that slowed it down. plus they were in limbo cause she kept rejecting him. i gotta rewatch cause i don't remember that section too well
overall it was very good! but unlucky government cuts but maybe lucky cause i don't know if i could have handled more bchang
LIS directors really captured the tension! like the elevator scene before the kiss and they're standing still and not looking at each other but their fingers caress--you could cut the tension with a knife!! even Yuan Shuai just pushing her into the coach made my eyebrows shoot up lol
TTEOTM directors.. i feel like in the beginning did well but second half they kinda dropped the ball in some aspects.. some of the shots we're boring.. thankfully the story and acting spoke for itself but it could have definitely been elevated for more innovated use of sound, lighting, angles and stuff. some of the fan made vids are really good bc they set the mood.. wondering how much of it was due to the episode cuts bc they really couldn't afford to take their time and had to explain a lot
i still can't believe this happened lmao it was my first and only Cdrama where I feel like they really went there 😂 Yuan Shuai was so down bad and they we're so cheesy i can't- 🤣
i think she was like reluctant bc she asked him if he was going to kill her and he was like.... maybe :3 lol at that point he was trying to sell that he had turned dark side but she still wanted to believe in him and like resigned herself that she loved him but knew something was wrong so she let herself have the moment with him but it was also depressing
they did a good job into crafting a delicate and believable longing between the two! i loved that there were no…
yess! also bailu's crying scenes really sold the whole thing for me and you could totally tell what she was trying to convey with shiyi production was on point too.. they let moments linger instead of just cutting moments together
