i got into cdramas watching bailu and zhao liying in like 2018 with ZhaoYao (the legends) and Princess Agents. i generally oscillate between watching dramas and mostly reading and it takes quite a bit to get me into a show so i generally just stick with the ppl i like and then just watch their stuff instead of starting and trying new shows all the time though i do pick up some random ones periodically. last show i watched was bailu's one and only (LOVED) and then was on a drama break and was reading. i happened to the one of the photos for lisusu in the gold and blue dress holding the jade harp by accident and immediately started watching-there were about 15 eps out at that point and then totally fell in love with LYX and how dark the angsty the show was. i was shook and now i'm here in the barren abyss for eternity 😂
