Was hoping that they'll change the storyline but the first pics released of talay with sad looks and empty photo frames and literally one of them had perths photo then I also remembered Perths character introduction "Tee had some past with Masuk" was a dead giveaway for this....
This is going to be in my to watch list until I collected enough bls to watch to get rid of all the feels this will bring... or I watch after My Engineer 2

Was going to mention the series pic and then read this all the excitement just exited my body ....

So instead of writing a comment I decided to write a Review so that you guys know why I liked it and some people didnt.
First of all I have read the second novel and I hated the novel, you know why loved the series and hated the novel because the series changed many things that made me unable to sleep for 3 days after reading the novel. Seriously If they made the novel into the series this review would be 1.5 ☆ (and the 1.5 would just be because of mewgulf).
Now how was it different...
■Characters
There wasnt Leo, Phu, Cirrus, Khui, Seo in the storyline (not sure about Dr. Khun -don't want to read THAT again)
Ill summarize the novel here to distinguish the differences:
In the novel Fiat is shit because he is a shit he didnt kiss Type because he wanted to awaken feelings but to create differences coz he saw Tharn in the parking lot. After which Tharn verbally abused Type called him sult, cheater and basically degraded him (according to translation)《so glad it was diluted 》. Then Type convinced Kalenga to seduce Fiat (he did a excellent job so good that Techno was so jealous and refused to talk to him) and bring him to a suite whereby Type, No, Kalenga and Fiat's friends surrounded a bound and blindfolded Fiat and made the atmosphere like that Fiat was going to be gangraped and recorded his confession so that he wont interfere again and left Fiat in the hands on his "friends" all of whom then had sex (raped?) Fiat and also recorded it so that Fiat can still maintain sexual relations with them through blackmail. 《Was so glad this got scraped 》also the one that took care of Type when he was sick and whom Fiat thought was Type's secret lover was Tar in the novel.

How the series did a better Job
-Basically the series removed all the parts that were contradictory to a persons character like Type and Tar were molested so making Fiat go through the same thing wouldn't be right . They also introduced secondary couples and Characters like Cirrus and Phu, Champ and Khun and Seo and Khui (I laughed so hard when a disclaimer showed up stating it wasn't a recommended behaviour when Khui was eavesdropping on Tharn and Type through a pipe). The series also highlighted the characters seven years by making them so lovey dovey plus I think the reason other characters didnt had a kiss scene because they had to complete with tharntype kisses ??.

Now the reason the story went the way it went because they followed the novels storyline, Tharn and Type the series actually follows the novels to the T for example the first season was so inline with the novel that when you read the novel those you who have hated Type will see the reason for his behaviour like why he agreed to sleep with Tharn or why he abused the katoeys and how he realised his feelings for Tharn (I'll spoil this one.... so in the novel after Tharn agreed to Types sex buddy agreement .. they had sex multiple times and after each times Tharn got up and did his job or went to sleep on his own bed instead of cuddling and spooning with Type all this made Type realised that he cant get what he needs from Tharn (love and attention) by just being his sex buddy coz by thenTharn was a large part of Type's life so when he went to that girl's room when they were about to kiss he was seeing Tharns face that's when he realised he cant do it).
So by revising the novel they came up with this story which is the better version.

Overall if a person who read the novel would love this series and the people who didnt like this series I urge you to read the novel

Firstly the reason I liked it was because of the changes in plotline but the storyline remains the same (major key points still happen) .

Good point.... I for one dont understand why they want to relate this to 2moons just why? They should have detached from the 2moons thing altogether (people are using 2moons Pha to justify this Pha and it gets confusing.... they should have just used different names) ... we can't be too Judgey of Thanu coz we dont know why is he here they are too many questions left unanswered... like why was he missing for a year? ... whats the deal with Padbook?.... whats up with Phai and his connection¿?.....
There are too many Why's in this series ...(more than it was in YYY series)

First show where the main leads got into a relationship without excessive drama ....

Same... but I also think that if they introduced Big from episode 1 instead of showing somebody elses back as Pha then we would have seen his acting and chemistry

I hope if they recast Mek they should consider Bank Toranin Manosudprasit (Tong from Gen Y) I would be even happy if they solved their problems and bring Ryan Peng back

I saw this series purely because of Mark and Kit but some couples were very attractive if they were given screentime for example Jack and Koh these two have something that makes you ship them and Sab and Padbook these two should have been explored they had story but it wasnt follwed up. Also for me Phai Thanu storyline was nonsensical half the time I didn't know what I am seeing (can someone explain to me this) and Tong and Pork I will not lie I didn't know what happened here I only watched it because the actor who played Pork resembles Ryan Peng (Mek from My Engineer) and was hoping if My Engineer 2 recasts Mek he would be thought of (well a guy can hope)
If you are wondering what I thought of Thanu Wayo its very loophole-y like their story was non existent for half a series then it was clouded with Phai business and then the Pha drama (lol... I lost it when Pha came and the first thought came to my mind was Whats wrong with the hair... like for whole series we saw Pha from the back and then this guy came with the wrong hairstyle)

Ps this is in no shape or form related to 2moons the series

My Engineer team should look at him if they are planning to replace Ryan Peng for season 2

I agree.... sadly this was the first Gmmtv show in recent year that I found a little disappointing

I can give all sorts of reasons why the Kiss was bad:
1. Ton kissed willingly
2. Ton was not drunk so he could have just told Amp to leave or left himself
3. Ton slams table, hits people, intimidates people but couldn't shove Amp away or changed seats
4. Everyone knows he's with Chon so him kissing Amp doesn't prove anything if something its that he could leave Chon for some girl
5. The Kiss was more passionate than the kiss between the leads.... I get that the kiss was important but if there is a kiss scene between a Bl lead and a girl the directors should atleast make the kiss look less meaningful than the leads e.g Kiss in Love Mechanics between Vee and the girl looked fake and bad in comparison to Vee's kisses with Mark .....
6. The kiss scene was the only time I hated Ai and Ni... they were there and didn't stop it and when Miriam showed the Video clip they gave nonsensical reasons
7. For Redemption from the Kiss Ton told Chon that he loved him from childhood and he saw his pictures in Chons room which made his character look dumb coz he was the one forcing Chon to be normal and making him sleep with girls

My thoughts on this:
Things I liked:
■Chons mother's advices.... every piece of advice that she gives are gold and her acting was superb
■ contradictions.... everything that seemed problematic was contradicted e.g Na happiness whilst uniting Chon and Ton ... the gang apologised for what they put him through another example is the cheating issue instead of just forgiving Ton... Chon told him that his ego was the reason for the kiss and called out his behaviour (this cheating issue was dealt better here than in Together with me the next chapter)
■ The two husband and wife gang... they are great friends
■Na and Nueng .... Na was amazing he was very open about his feelings and sexuality and Nueng (Gunsmile) acting ... he portrayed funny and easy going characters before and that's why I loved his acting as a grey shaded character.

Things I didn't like:
■Lack of Chemistry ..... where was the chemistry as a avid Bl fan we know if there's a couple the chemistry must be strong (mewgulf) but here it was lacking Podd was in Dark Blue Kiss his chemistry there was amazing whether it was with Kao or Mork but it wasn't upto the lead couple standard ....
■Ai and Ni ...... what the hell happened here we all know Mike and Toptap have great chemistry from 2gether the series but it was all diluted here most of it was because of screentime as a couple but when they were in screen their kissing scenes went kaput (gmmtv has to clarify what happened like they kissed in 2gether the series but in this 0)
■Kiss Scenes ... Ai and Ni was a disaster but leads were no better Like I felt a bit awkward looking at the scene after watching Ton kiss Amp which looked a lot passionate ALOT..
■I dont know what it is with this BLs and "I dont like boys but I like you" I'm tired of this what kind of sexuality is this ...
■Loophole .... so basically Ton liked Chon from childhood and his parents moved away so that he can be "Normal" and it worked Ton forgot all about Chon until he came back and realised he still liked (loved?) Him and he also saw Chon keeping his pictures in his room but he still was forcing him to be "Normal" and making him sleep with girls and hooking up ... who does that!
■Chon.... his character arc was so bad... he seriously needed to get his priorities straight before moving in with Ton ... first he was OK with one sided love then he wanted more and he was sad coz he wasnt getting what he wanted so basically he was all over the place
■surrogacy.... I liked how tgey touched upon this topic but they portrayed it so horribly.... why does virginity matter
■Tons dad ... if you watched the series you'll know why...

This series was below my expectations and can only like it if you binge watch all of the episodes but it wasnt the worst one *cough* WTD*cough*
So its 6.5 ☆ for me

P.s did you know the actor who played ITT Ton's brother in law is the same actor who played Dim Green's boyfriend in 2gether the series

I actually read the 2nd novel and I hated it coz the Novel was so bad and it was contradictory in itself..... so I decided to watch this to see if they actually took creative liberties to improve the plot and which one is better the novel or this....
I'll reply to this comment once I finish this....

What I loved:
The rural setting
The father's open mindness
The characters

The only thing that could have made this better if they showed us that there isnt a scared water and the shaman was a cheat it would have had made the story much better knowing that Teng's love wasnt influenced by the water.
On a serious side note we could have lived without the ghost scene it was unnesssary and quite frankly made me dislike Tak and question his love for Sek

I am not going to lie... I just saw the series because of Toss and Tin plus Scale because its very rare in BL to portray a single father and a male lover story ..... I just hope that similiar stories emerge or their story get extended
