Really enjoying this. Dylan Wang's acting has really come along. I recently saw him in a modern day drama older woman younger man romance cant think of the title. I wasnt convinced. DW seemed so dorky and unattractive in it. But his acting in this is great and he looks handsome!!! On episode 11 and wondered how the body swap will go. Feel its going to be a disaster lol wonder how our Orchid will escape. The one thing really irritating me in this drama is her voice and certain aspects of her character. Im hoping for some growth.

You seem really angry in your response. As fascinating as I find the "bloody" emperor and his relationship with the empress and consort, its hard for me to accept. Thats where the ewww comes in for me. As accepted as it was at the time also a pitiful situation for the women and children. I avoid harem shows so haven't seen the one you are referring to. No way Marquis Quiling defected/ betrayed the emperor. This is where the emperor disappointed me. This man and his family were away fighting for over 10 years for the emperor and he doesnt think for 1 minute that its a set up?

Thanks for the responses. I knew my opinion would be unpopular. As for the thoughts in his head that wasnt for YD benefit. For everything he did for YD protection it really didnt work out well. While our 10000 year old emotionally retarded male lead can do no wrong our little lotus flower is a baby in comparison was not even given a slight acknowledgement. In fact at the bridge wasnt she convinced that he hated her and he encouraged this? Thats why she confessed and jumped? Im going to watch this again from the beginning.

In earlier comments I read that Yan Dan stabs Tang Zhou? In the novel? Im not a fan of YY/TZ character. His version of love seems very selfish in both realms. I will repeat doing so much for some one without their knowledge doesnt score any points with me. In the end he was kinder and more forgiving towards the evil lamp then he was ever helpful towards YD. Yu Mo knows he is only considered a friend but his unselfish love never waivers. I wish him happiness, not with YD. I still cant get over YD trying to forget YY for 800 years. All this fluff happening with their memories lost while its seems to be destiny? Fate? I still dont feel YY is deserving of the heart YD gave him- physically or figuratively speaking. My opinion is obviously affected by my personal life experiences so I dont find this "cute". So YY needed to go to the human realm to get answers about the demon war. The emperor blocks his memories so there really isn't anything happening with that, but tells us plenty about the emperor. So we are nearly at the end of part 1 and still a long way from any real answers. Does anyone know how many episodes are in part 2?

Finally finished this awful drama/ romance/ comedy? Whatever the heck it was it totally lacked any romance not even a believable relationship. I will avoid anything else I see these lead actors in. What love? I hug my friends the same way. The use of old man was awful. Over the top during the last episode. I wanted to ram the words down her throat. Imagine being called old woman at 40? Who the hell wrote this garbage? I give the drama joke a big 👎

Not having been adopted nor have I adopted a child my experience with adoption is severely limited. I recently met a half sister, an unknown child of my father. Her mother had placed her for adoption. Single mothers were a pariah back then. We are so happy and excited to meet. She is so happy to find family. She did not have a happy life. Anyway back to our drama that has me bewildered and frustrated. I feel extended family should butt out. Grandfather, daughter son and their spouses and children should be the only ones involved in this matter. IMO. Its hard not to be emotionally involved but Im trying to step back to understand the actions of grandfather and Jung Eun first. He seems to have gone into his own world of pain. He was rejected, obviously felt that his daughter would be just happy to be reunited with her father. He didnt expect that she would hate him and not want anything to do with him. He needs to make this right and he cant think about anything else right now. Jung Eun is a mess. I think she is jealous of Min Ho. She wants to believe the worst and is aggrieved because of Mi Rae's situation. Looks like things will get a lot worse. Preview did not ease my tears and we can all see a lot of suffering ahead. My heart is breaking for Hyun Jae. Does Mi Raes attitude seem so cold to anyone else? Not looking forward to next weeks episodes.

I came to read the comments as I stopped half way through thinking this is going to end badly. Really badly. I havent found THE comment with the answer but plenty telling me its a sad ending. Being a highly emotional person this would likely have me sobbing for hours. Im going to give it a pass. I came for a romance and life sucks so I want a happy ending.

You really took offense to my opinion. I never once thought she was LESS. In fact I feel she has contributed so much more in her own bad ass way. She may have become physically weaker but she has such a strong character and I think you have missed that. My post was showing how she would have changed and become someone who is able to love. That does not make her LESS in any way. I believe it has given her strength and determination. No you arent being offensive you just seem offended. But we all see things in our own way. We focus on different parts of the plot/ storyline. Honestly I didnt feel she had been written into a useless female. I still envisage Mu Deok and Jang Uk as a power couple if that offends people so be it I dont see a problem with them working together. That is the potential I see. And arent we all full of flaws?

I want to talk about Naksu/Mudeok character. A young girl that was taken in after her fathers death. Made into an assassin and used as a tool to kill. She then soul shifts and finds herself in a weak body and looking for a path to survive. Her and Jang Uk cross paths. They decide to use each other. Meanwhile her mentor takes back her body and burns it, she also finds out the truth of her fathers death. The people that she hated and wanted vengeance against were now gone. It was all a pack of lies. This cold blooded killing machine has to change. So peoples comments about Naksu's character or her behaving out of character, well isnt it bound to change? Mudeok as we know her is still talking tough, but I think as we have seen she will do whatever it takes to help Jang Uk. I hope she gets her sword and her power and her and Uk become a formidable force to be reckoned with and she can help Uk tear down Jin Mu and his evil co conspirators.
I believe Mr Lee success at soul shifting is based in the fact he entered a soulless body. Just like Gwigu these wont run wild. I believe the same of Mudeoks body. Cant wait for all to be clear. I hope Im not too disappointed. Shipping Mu deok and Jang Uk ♥️

I just binge watched for episodes- delicious! I got caught on a couple of things. Could be wishful thinking but here goes. The Jin Lady was pregnant for 13 months. She begged Jang Gang/Yang? to save her baby. No baby can survive in utero so long so maybe some magic was used to save/prolong its life. Thinking this girls soul was meant to leave so when Naksu took over it wasnt a shift thats why you dont have the blue mark. It was really a soulless body that gave Naksu a new home. I really want to believe JSM will continue to be Mu Deok/ Naksu. Doesnt the kiss prove that she will continue to be Jang Uks beloved? They surely wont have him kissing some other lips will they?
She has admitted to herself she is in love with UK so Seo Yul is going to have a fight on his hands from Uk and Mu Deok. With regards to whose son Uk is, it doesnt matter whose soul was in his fathers body DNA is DNA.
The guy murdered at the end of episode 14 was killed because of So i I believe, not because of Mu Deok.
I thought the writing was slack when no one noticed it was Mu Deok who opened the Jin cave and just let it go with the younger sister saying it must have been her. Now they want to throw a random in to be Jin Bu Yeon. There is so much more I was thinking of. The relevance of Jin bu yeong being born on the day Jang Gang said made me think he placed some ones soul into that babies body. I know I keep harping. Also there are way too many blind girls, a huge plot hole. 😳

Episode 5 and Ive had enough of the FL punching/slapping ML. It would be just the same for me if reversed. Also the poor quality translation is making this impossible to understand. Also timing is bad so Im constantly rewinding to read subs. I do not find any of this "refreshing". Dropping this.

What an absolute hot mess. Im half way through episode 17 and the carry on just continues. I cant believe they fix this. No one has heard of calling the police? This has really put me off Thai Lakorns.

Why does the evil fairy get so much air time. I cant stand that character. Why does she catch all the breaks?
While Im still crying through so many episodes. Ive nearly finished 17. Im not feeling nearly so sympathetic towards the ML. For me you dont get points for hiding your love or doing so much for some one without their knowledge. Is Yan Dan comforted by any of this? She only knows that this man never returned her feelings. For me his suffering will never be enough no matter how many tears he sheds. Its no surprise to me she ends up with Yumo in the novel.
Why are these dramas bogged down with so many evil characters? The loss of so many deities from the demon war I feel was very detrimental to this drama. The supreme majesty is an evil shit. Love is banned because he couldnt get the woman he wanted? There is nothing good about this character.
Back to the evil fairy. Wow how many chances has she been given. Even the ML was kinder to her than to the woman he sopposedly loves. I want to see that fairy die the worst most awful death imaginable. I wont be satisfied with less.
While the ML sleeps through 800 years Yan Dan is walking through torture and he is going to "help her" for a day. This sadly is typical of the unbalanced relationships between men and women.
Im all for happy endings because we dont get those in real life, but Im not sure I want Yan Dans happy ending to be with him. He cant stab himself enough, knowing her suffering and just adding more to it. 😭 Ive read the comments so I know I will cry through episode 18.

Just finished episode 2 and finding this totally nuts already. Came here to see comments and found mostly negative ones. The FL is beautiful the ML is handsome but what a total let down the script is. I will save this for when Im really bored.

Several things have really annoyed me about this drama. The script writers are a big let down for the characters. Some more dialogue would have gone a long way instead Cake was made to look like some mute idiot. Tons reaction made him look like how shit is his love for this innocent girl? What an arsehat! When they should have been talking they were silent. Then when they got him to speak he was an ape. Seriously?
