It's a butterfly effect kind of thing. They changed the past, and yes, Jae soo's dad didn't die and by Jun Woong interfering, they now in the present have a picture with the dad. They wouldn't notice the change because that's how it has 'always' been.

Same here, I sobbed so hard. I hadn't cried watching a drama in so long before I watched this.

I don't think they specified, but I think it was purely genetic. It was just early hearing loss. He stopped wearing hearing aids because he could barely hear even with them, so he thought it was pointless and stopped wearing them. I wish you could give this drama a second chance, it's amazing.

Honestly one of the reasons why I dropped it. Like I could not bring myself to watch it after that one episode where that guy offed himself, because I was crying so hard for the next few episodes. Like I legit paused every 10 minutes. You really have to be in the right head space to watch it because it's so heavy.

How is it bad writing? He thought he prevented the accident because everything pointed to that being ''the'' accident. He relaxed, then the actual accident happened later on and he couldn't prevent it. He never was supposed to prevent or even could prevent it. The timeline was already screwed up because he traveled back, and the accident was going to happen one way or another because it was supposed to. It's not bad writing, it's just general logic. Even with the rehearsal, the light fell and they got attacked by that gang. Yi Chan was fine, and Eun Gyeol relaxed. I can see how it can be strange that he wasn't more careful but you do have to know it was like the worst case scenario thing, what are the chances something like that would happen at the next rehearsal? Almost 0.

Ngl I almost dropped it on episode 3, but I was so glad I continued it. It got better and better each episode. Kinda wished they changed the ending a lil bit, but that's just me. It was amazing overall

I've watched both and my opinion is that the Korean one here is way better. The FL is way more tolerable in my opinion, and also I sort of got weirded out by the age gap. Like she was about 25 while he was in his mid 40's, which again, they're both adults so it's fine, but in the Korean one they're closer in age.

This is sort of a remake of an older Japanese drama with the same name, which I've watched and I am praying we're not getting the same ending.

Honestly every show I've seen where actors play a deaf person, their acting is very on point. For me it was those actors in twinkling watermelon. Specifically, the older brother of the ml, found out that the actor is from a kpop group and he actually knows sign irl.

It's a slowburn for sure, and so far has been very mature and healing in my opinion, but they are introducing some second leads so idk how long it will last.

That's what I thought, it doesn't make sense for him to be mute especially because he's only been deaf for 3 years. It makes sense with shows like twinkling watermelon, where one of the characters is around the same age as Heart but has been deaf since birth and never learned how to talk. Idk, I think we shouldn't read too much into it.

I was so scared they were going to do that, but I'm glad they didn't. I was more surprised they didn't make the younger brother commit die, because it surely looked like he was gonna do that.

I agree, but I'm so glad it was easy. A lot of other dramas drag out the revenge story, and it takes away from the plot in some cases.
