I genuinely can’t stop crying because I finished this drama. It touched me so much, and I’m heartbroken that I won’t get to spend more time with these characters. This drama is so warm and comforting, and I’m sure I’ll go back and watch it again in the future.
Just.. nothing really changed for him. He was still at the same place at the end as he was in the before. I just think something should have changed to make him happier.
I’m on episode 7 and the FL is making me so frustrated. She is the most passive character ever and because of that the story is moving so incredibly slow. I just noticed that there’s 16 episodes and I honestly don’t know how they’re gonna fill that when it feels like the story should have ended several episodes ago... at least it could have if she. just. did. something!
im not sure. but why do i feel she is awful mom. The story no longer discussed abt her kid at the latter part…
I don’t think she’s a bad mom. The show repeatedly shows her struggling and putting her own needs aside to give her daughter the education she wants. Even when she was feeling really down she put on a smile for her daughter because she didn’t want her to worry. The story isn’t focused on her relationship with her daughter, but rather on her struggling with getting back to work after she left to take care of her daughter. Now that her daughter doesn’t need her to constantly take care of her anymore, it’s time for her to move on from her role as a stay at home mom. And yes her daughter is young to be away from home but I’m sure she’s living in a boarding school or something similar, where there’s adults there to take care of her.
This is sooo cute I can’t even handle it! And not only was the romance really really sweet but I also really enjoyed the different friendships and following the people at the publishing house.
A bit weird how it went from being quite funny in the first haft to very serious in the second half but it somehow works. I guess it’s a good way to draw you into the story with a beginning that isn’t too heavy and let’s you fall in love with the characters.
The last 20 minutes of the series was a bit of a mess, and I think they could have wrapped it up better, but otherwise it was a really good show. The actor who plays the king and the clown was absolutely phenomenal!
Yes definitely still a good series even if the ending could have been better. I hope no one clicked on the spoilers before watching till the end. I’ve definitely done that before and it’s not always a good idea...
Hi! Thank you for being your first, I’m also pretty new :) I also kept waiting for them to reveal that he wasn’t dead until the last minute... I get what you mean about the two week thing, but I also feel like so many aspects of the series weren’t realistic anyway so the writers could probably have figured out a way for them to be together without hurting his family. Or, and this is going to sound really cold, they could have killed off his father, who wasn’t a very likeable character anyway, and never included his mother to begin with since she wasn’t very important to the plot. It‘s just so sad that they would introduce us to all of his dreams about getting married and having kids, just to give us an ending where he has to give up all of that to spend his life longing for a girl he can only see two weeks a year.
With them not killing a character, they had just spent 16 episodes developing and making the viewers care about, for no reason... I also really don’t understand the point in setting up two characters as love interests just to kill one of them and leave the other one suffering even more than they already were. How is that supposed to be a satisfying ending when it literally wasn’t even necessary for the story? I also hated the 2 weeks a year thingie. How are you supposed to keep a relationship going if you can only speak with each other for two weeks a year and are then left lonely and missing them for the rest of the year?
