I just watched ep 3 and I am left disappointed and annoyed. Please someone tell me this is worth sticking with as right now I want to drop it.
I know its a kdrama and logic should not be sought but this episode was beyond ridiculous how many disastrous occurrences could they cram into one episode >_<
On ep 12 and really enjoying all the different story arcs. One thing I am slightly appalled by is the amount of casual violence displayed by a lot of the characters especially the older ones.
For the most part I really enjoyed this drama. A sweet coming of age story that follows the lives and loves of a group of classmates from high school through college and later.
What ruined it for me was the so called noble idiotic sacrifice which wasnt an accurate depiction at all. In fact the actions of one of the main characters in the latter part of the drama was incredibly selfish. They chose to hurt 2 people for a long period of time instead of being honest and up front from the outset. I cannot say anymore without spoiling.
Discovered a whole raft of actors I hadnt come across before so all in all a happy experience.
Can anyone tell me if the lead female character is anything like Qu Xiao Xiao that she played in Ode to Joy...if she is the same then I wont watch as I despised her. If she is different I will give it a go. Thanks
So reading the comments here I suppose I should lower my expectations drastically...? Or not bother with it at all....i shall check in a few weeks to hear the views of those of you sticking with it.
I feel like there is little mention of the romance but honestly, it's kind of creepy. And this isn't…
@Janey Just because people have a different opinion to yours does not mean they are trolling. Yes I have seen the brief scenes where she is 29 but I am talking about their "love story" in the present which starts when she is in high school. And even if in recent episodes she is no longer a high school student the age gap (both in time and experience) is still vast and in my opinion insurmountable.

I dont like the romance between the main couple either. They just dont go together in my opinion, he seems so mature and she is so childish. I wish they had not chosen the female lead to be a high school student.

The tension/suspense is good but there is a lot of overacting by JH. I think to enjoy the drama we have to suspend our disbelief and logic XD
