Its similar with the themes of family ties, drama, budding romance and comedy. I loved 1997 and 1994 is just as good.

Wow, she's only 23. She looks a lot older (in Ugly Alert at least). Usually Asian actors looks at least 3-5 yrs…
I agree with you, in Ugly Alert I thought she was in her 30's and the actress who plays her stepmom also looks a lot older than her actual age as well the one who plays her cousin....strange as usually Asian actors look younger than they are but in Ugly Alert all the women look older lol

In a drama/film an essential component is acting skill and in my opinion she is lacking in that department

yes they have reduced the eps to 18 saying they want to tell full story in a second season. So I'm dreading that the writing/narrative flow will suffer because of this sudden decision to chop & change the script. I don't mind the length of the drama as long as the story is told & acted well.
