I am watching a few currently airing ones (Cruel City, Dating Agency : Cyrano, Gu Family Book, Jang Ok Jung) & also Rascal Sons. I haven't made much headway with the new dramas as I have started working now so less time on my hands.

After I saw your profile I realised Phoenix wasn't for you lol.

I just finished Giant which was excellent but again I'm not sure if its your bag - its family/politics/business/scheming etc but it does have elements of melodrama to it

Hi there I was leaving a message for winnie & saw your comment re: Smile You. I have to tell you its totally fab....the leads had amazing chemistry - the best I have ever seen in a kdrama.

I understand your concerns about Choi Jung Yoon, I hate this actress (I think we have already discussed our mutual dislike of her at length lol) but thankfully her role is minor & you can hate her to your hearts content.

Lee Min Jung is wonderful I loved her in this drama. I found the lead guys mom REALLY annoying in the middle of the drama ...yes even more than Choi Jung Yoon hahahaha but other than that its excellent. Jung Kyung Ho is so sweet and dorky in this loved him.

Phoenix I gave a 9/10. I saw it about 4 months ago at first when I saw the lead bloke I dropped it I thought no hes not my cup of tea and he looked awful too as the drama is an older one, however, I gave it a go cos someone raved about it to me and I got sucked in. It has all the hallmarks of your classic makjang the love triangle 2 men in love with the same woman the clingy/crazy female second lead etc

But this drama was refreshing in that by the end I actually felt sorry for the 2nd female lead also the story starts off with the main couple falling in love and getting married (which is unusual in Kdramas) they then split up and years later meet again. It gets a little draggy about 2/3 thru but its still well worth a watch. Eric looked very hot in this and the lead guy totally won me over and I would definitely watch him again, in fact I have already downloaded Lovers.

Hope thats gonna help you decide whether this drama is for you or not I know some people hate cliche makjangs but I like them :)

Well until a few days ago my avi was Choi Jin Hyuk (Hes in Gu Family Book) but then I saw this little cutie in Rascal Sons lol Lis says my biological clock is ticking hahahaha

I live in UK & have all my life but yeah my family came from Pakistan & same with Arabic for me cos alphabet is similar to Urdu I can read but don't really understand it

It got a bit draggy around episode 40s but its still fab & worth the watch

Finished at last. It took a while to get there but worth the effort definitely recommend it!!

Yeah my first language (mother tongue) is Punjabi & Urdu is similar & also I watched a few bollywood films when I was young so Im pretty fluent. I can read & write Urdu too which I taught myself :)
