I totally agree with you both, why does the "good hearted heroine" have to have a bad haircut & clothes & act like a moron. Just cos you don't have a lot of money doesn't mean you cannot have dignity, grace & style.

so if we all give it 1 point can we bring the average down ....please XD

I suppose so although not all the top ones in MDL are are in my top 5, most of the ones with high scores tend to be pretty decent dramas imo lol

I havent started Jang Ok Jang yet I will let you know what I think of it when I do.

Ah I think you are missing out on a great drama in Nine but I guess we all have different tastes. TWTWB I liked it but the ending just was a cop out for me. Moo Cheol ended up being my favourite character in TWTWB :)

In my opinion this is where K-dramas come undone they tend to mess up on the wrapping up part of the drama, either making it needlessly tragic (A Love To Kill, Bad Guy) or they crowbar a happy ending in whether it makes sense or not (Rooftop Prince, QIHM, TWTWB)

Although these dramas (& the actors in them lol) made my heart race & I was glad they got together but the way they did didnt make sense & thats always niggled at me cos although I can love the drama it has to make sense & ultimately those endings didnt but Nines did which is why its a cut above for me anyway...

Its definitely one of the best dramas I have seen & certainly the best time travel one as we all know they can get convoluted & you need a brain of Einstein to figure things out lol but Nine pretty much made sense....I LOVED IT!!!! Give it a try & see what you think....

btw the time travelling is over a 20 year period so its not a sageuk/modern drama like Rooftop Prince or Queen In Hyuns Man

BTW another stand out drama of 2013 (so far) is Nine it is amazing never seen anything quite like, it every episode they just blow me away!

Incarnation of Money is a very clever revenge drama/thriller. The best thing about it is that the heroes & villains are both so good at trying to pre-empt each others moves, and outsmart each other. If you like intelligent scripts you will like this drama.

The first 4 eps are when the hero is a teenager then we have the inevitable time leap. The next few eps were a bit random & made me think what on earth is going on...this isn't what I was expecting but all I can say is stick with it you wont be disappointed, by ep 12 you will know what I mean lol

The writers of IoM also wrote Giant & Salaryman & both of those are excellent dramas I can vouch for Giant most certainly as I have seen 40/60 episodes and it is a stand out epic drama!

Wow.... I'm blown away by the clever writing in this drama.

I hope the last 2 episodes are as good as the rest....cannot wait until Tuesday :)

I haven't seen the J version but I would say give the K version a go it just gets a bit draggy in the middle episodes, but its still definitely worth a watch.
