Guys, I'm in desperate need of series with the same vibe! (I've already seen team bulldog: off-duty investigation, Vincenzo, Big Mouth, The fiery priest, Bad Guys, Police University, 38 Task force, Midnight Runners and I hope I haven't forgotten anything ahah )
I think 'forced' wouldn't be the correct word for what happened. He basically begged her.
Maybe I expressed my thoughts in the wrong way, but I wanted to say that Woo Young Woo could have avoided a bit of her suffering if her parents talked more about keeping her or not. It's absolutely not all her father's fault that she is suffering and a great part of her suffering is sadly because of her autism condition. However, if she had a loving family with also her mother (not that her father doesn't give her love, he gave up on everything to take care of her), she could have been a bit happier, don't you think?
I still feel like she gave birth because he begged her and obviously she loved him and was suffering from all the situation, but if it's as you said maybe it could have been explained a bit more? Maybe this background story needed the whole episode.
I still love this show a lot though, it was just this part of the episode that didn't sit right with me

Yeah, you're right, it still feels wrong to me though. I mean deciding to keep a child is a very big deal, if you don't want them you can't decide to keep them just because someone begged for it. I think they should have talked it out more, moreover, even though I like his character I really didn't like the way they depicted Woo Young Woo's father as the " hero" that raised the child on his own. Woo Young Woo suffered (and is suffering) also because of the way her parents behaved.
Guys, your thoughts on the story behind Woo Young Woo's birth? I just don't like the fact that her father and mother didn't talk thoroughly about whether to keep or not the baby (Woo Young Woo), at the end, it feels that Woo's father kinda forced Woo's mother to have the baby (even tho she agreed not so happily)
I just started this drama and it's so damn amazing! I think the actress is so talented, she portrays the role in the minimum details so well! I hope the drama will continue on the non-toxic side (^^)
