it doesn't seem like acting but they have legit alibis and when they ask each other things like 'why were you here' or 'where were you at this time' they all have a story and something to say. it's just kinda confusing me cuz i don't know if this is real or maybe they were all given character cards and they have to act out a certain character while also not knowing who the real murderer is.

im confused on how this show works. are they just acting and they all know who the murderer is but they're just putting on a play or do they actually not know who the murderer is? im just confused why they all have 'identities' and actual evidence placed in certain areas.
