The early schedule release says Fri Sat airing on 29th July. I'm guessing it will be moved around later, since the script reading was only done yesterday and the schedule will be insane to keep up with.
I think the shooting has already started since November, because on Byeong Kyu's insta, there's a photo of him…
Lol this is a definite no. Sejeong's been doing musicals then filming for Business Proposal until March. And she's got Today's Webtoon up next. She even cut her hair recently to prepare for that role. The Uncanny Counter should be up next after that, so maybe first half next year at the earliest.
Another plus is that a lot of the best scenes were revealed to be adlibs! Shows how great the chemistry between the casts are and how comfortable they were in their roles. One of the best romcoms in recent years.
Just curious, what is it about her that you do not like?
Understandable. The only drama I've seen her in was Strangers from Hell, and it wasn't exactly a major role, so I didn't have too much trouble with her. What dramas have you seen her in?
I loved Sejeong in every project she's in, but I'm glad she's finally doing a slice-of-life, wholesome, inspirational kind of genre. I think playing a character who's a former Judo athlete really suits her, and I'm hoping the this readaptation will explore more into this, because the Japanese original didn't really go too deep into it. I wish Sejeong to have continuous success after two breakout hit dramas
Will this actually come out this year? KSJ still has to film The Uncanny Counter 2
Sejeong was studying and talking about this character (On Ma-eum) in her vlive, and she followed a Korean Judo athlete on her IG, so it's almost 100% this is her next project.
Watched the Japanese original drama and I loved it. A feel-good, slice of life drama and filled with inspirational people stories. Another drama genre for Sejeong to challenge herself in and prove her versatility! From teen drama to melo, from action fantasy to rom-com, and now a slice of life drama!
Same here. Joohee is seen as the "main" lead, but honestly it felt like Yeo Jin had more screentime (?) and had…
I guess her pure/positive image just suits Juhee more than the rich spoiled one of Yeojin more. Yeonwoo's character in Dali and the Cocky Prince was a similar rich/spoiled one as well, so maybe that's why
As I read the webtoon before, i am very curious about how theyβll handle sunghoon with joohee and sunghoon with…
Same here. Joohee is seen as the "main" lead, but honestly it felt like Yeo Jin had more screentime (?) and had bigger roles to the story. I do like the webtoon's ending, but I also like Jung Chaeyeon, and I wanna see what kind of role she plays in this one.
Can someone tell me how this remake compares to Lee Byunghun's movie version? I'm thinking about watching both of them, but I wanna know what differences or how the both of them compare.
ahhh i really want this to happen soon, but it seems they shelved it for now T-T
Sejeong and Yoo Junsang have both mentioned that they will film this after their current projects. Sejeong has another drama Today's Webtoon after the current one - A Business Proposal tho, so TUC2 might be pushed to early next year
I do like the webtoon's ending, but I also like Jung Chaeyeon, and I wanna see what kind of role she plays in this one.
