After watching today's epi i don't think i will be able to resent that much LBY for whatever he does later (yess,while watching last part of epi 38 i was so disappointed in him ) . I m just wondering how could he passionately love SS when the inner part of him is all consumed by injustice/hatred/vengeance. I just feel it was a momentary dicision that he became a killing spree. If we put everything at place the revenge arc will be character growth for 1-YS would fulfill his long desire to be with SS , after knowing that SS only loves LBY he would understand that it's not about slow/fast it's about what's meant for you what's not N SS was definitely not for him.
2- LBY will choose revenge over SS n think that he would die but to his suprise he will live that too a miserable life without SS n get a reality check that Everything comes with a price tag.
3- SS's growth is the one what i m looking forward to. She will be the person who no longer be doing things recklessly n will get to learn that Love is a choice not an option

Though idk much still some points are there so i can spoil it for you. LBY protects SS all the while n even protects Yuan clan when he knows SS has an engagement with ys. He is like i can't be with you but can take care of you from afar. He actually gives up the idea to be with her until when he sees SS in after returning from the exile. You can see during Lou AYao n SS's engagement banquet he had given up on SS but the moment he saw her could only think of her.
