In Go Ahead, both fathers felt like father figures for the three of them, while FBC barely felt the presence of San Ha's father in the 3 kids life

also I don't remember where it was stated, Ju Won's character was more like Shang Zi (hidden love) instead of Jian Jian 😂

he seems like he was in his own bubble that every mother treated their kids good without realizing that his mother lied to him

Fell in love is a big word because he only wanted to be officially part of the family
and the drama was 3 leads, no SML

personally after episode 3 I can see FBC as stand alone drama as it takes different route, but it's not emotionally heart-wrenching as the OG
in this drama, until episode 4, I only felt pity for San Ha

Zi Qiu did confess, but he practically said he only marry her because he want to be officially part of the family, hence why Jian Jian was so annoyed by the confession

despite Jian Jian and Xiao ended up together, but they never leave Zi Qiu behind
the dynamic slightly change when they're in relationship, but not as bad as you thought
