During my mbbs final year , my HOD used to motivate the boys to pick OBG . one .... they go on to highly skillful obstetricians. two.... in our college the topper of OBGYN are always boys ... like the top 10 are mostly boys even when there are equal number of boys and girls in the class 🤷🏻‍♂️
hopefully this stigma in northern india changes soon
