No corpse and his essence went in the petal of the wishing tree/snowy rose I think he needed an year to restore himself and he knew it. Because he told her he will come back to her after an year. If he thought he was just dying, he wouldn't say it. 😁
Am I the only one that thinks he came back? Because the wishing tree petal has his essense and the snowy rose had the recovery spell. So yes, I think he reached highest level and came back.
I'm so pleasanly surpised by this drama. It's really fascinating how the romantic stories of all the characters begin. So different than the usual scenarios. In life, in 90% of the cases the first love, no matter how strong it is, is not the big love of someones life. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Keep watching and dont worry, there are episodes focusing on GL but also there are episodes focusing on GYY. GYY is doing great! 13,14 and 16,17 are my favorite episodes so far but I'm sure my list of fav ep will grow 😁
I really enjoy it so far. There are funny moments, touching moments and painful moments. It's great to see how their character evolve, how they want to be better, how they fight with difficulties. I have to say I'm really impressed with Xiao Zhan acting here.
