this is kinda irrelevant but i saw a clip of the husband (?) getting shot in the head, and the FL screaming and…
that clip is the female leads parents. And she didn't lose her front teeth. The child is the female leads. Sadly her parents had a sad ending. The first 12 episodes are about the female leads parents.
This drama is just wow. I almost got emotional towards the end. A mental journey to get through each episode. So glad all the idiots got what they deserved. I decided to watch this drama because 1. it's a remake of a Singaporean drama 2. I like history. Although I love history sometimes these kind of dramas are really difficult to watch. (How the women were treated and still are being treated in some places today is heartbreaking). You had to be very strong minded to survive as a women back then. The first 12 episodes about female leads parents were a great start. After that I was more interested in the 'idiots' getting what they deserved than the main couple. As the main couple had little screen time together. I'm probably going to have this drama on my mind for a few days. It reminds me of Battle of Changsha sometimes.
A bunch of episodes got cut which disrupted the flow. But yes, the romance was never well developed. Keep going…
I'm currently up to ep 30. When I started watching this drama I thought it was over hyped but now watching it in the later episodes I now understand why it has a lot of positive reviews.
sometimes I find Hua Min Chu to be slightly annoying. For are 'smart guy' he doesn't seem to think before he says anything sometimes.
when did Hua Min Chu exactly start to like Xi Shui ? I understand a lot of scenes were cut but we never we got a 'confirmation' that he likes her. They just ended up together without an explanation.
from ep 24 onwards wow its gets intense I feel like I'm watching a different drama. Amazing character development.

Dai Xiang Yu who was in the original reprising his role. A lot of actors don't do that these days.
is it 45 or 50 episodes cause on dramacool its shows 50 but 5 episodes a raw.
