I'm up to ep 9 and so far this drama is beautifully done. The fact that teen Tee was a complete jerk though pissed me off. But also one of many reasons why Thannam took her own life. Tee and Thannam getting back together makes me feel uncomfortable. Now knowing what happened between them in the past. Thannam in my opinion is a very relatable character (from personal experiences). This drama oddly feels emotionally raw to me. Edit - I've finished the drama and this is probably one of the best drama's involving mental health I've watched.
all drama's of his that were filmed 2018-2019 are airing this year. So basically he has 6 dramas (including Under the Power) that will air this year. So he is gonna be on TV the whole year.
Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk being cast to play the leads in this drama is just amusing to me because they both rejected the offer to be leads in the drama Come and Hug Me (2018) and now they are paired up again but it actually became official.

this drama is 100% a Thai Makjang with a lot of culture shock imo. I wrote down all the relationships while watching this just to prepare people for what they are about to watch. Yes this will probably reveal the whole drama but better safe than sorry.
Achai & Reynu Achai come's home from the military and brings home Reynu. The couple 'eloped' and Reynu is 2 months pregnant. Yoi does not approve of Reynu because Achai is arranged to marry Philia (spoiled brat). Reynu later has a miscarriage. Achai often has to live at another place because his new job is far away. Reynu thinks Achai's boss's daughter Ornpannee likes Achai and she is suspicous that Achai is having an affair. When Asee passes away Reynu finds out she is pregnant. Reynu is exposed for using black magic and is publicly chased out of Chum Saeng. Reynu and her sister Wanna leaves Chum Saeng and open a store somewhere else. Renynu see's Achai with Ornpannee confirming her suspicions he had an affair. Years pass and Achai comes to see how Renyu and their son is doing. Their son Pranod meets Achai and resents him at first. Achai gets into a car accident and his 2nd wife Ornpannee refuses to save him. Achai survives the brain surgery. Achai and Reynu later reconcile and legally get married.
Achai & Ornpannee They have an affair and Achai picks her over Reynu because she is wealthy and has connections for his career. They have a daughter together named Cherry. Ornpannee has many male 'partners'.
Phiangpen & Karn Phiangpen has an arranged marriage to Asa but she is in love with Karn. Her parent's don't accept Karn because he is poor. Phiangpen ends up pregnant with Karn's baby. Karn decides to break up with Phiangpen because he thinks Asa is a good man that will take care of her and their child. After Asa and Phiangpen amicably divorce. Karn tries to reconcile with Phiangpen but she refuses because Karn slept with Bang-orn. The couple later reconcile and Phiangpen's parents now accept Karn. The couple get married.

After 2 months of marriage they amicably divorced but kept it a secret from their family. Phiangpen run's away from home and Asa helps her out like a brother. Asa encourages Karn to get back together with Phiangpen.
Asa & Janta Asa asks Yoi if he can leave the family (he never actually leaves the family) to become an independent adult. He decides to be with Janta, the women he liked before he was arranged to marry Phiangpen. Yoi gives in and gives Asa the dowry that is meant to be for his wife. Asa and Janta leave Chum Saeng and decide to live a whole new life together. Asa and Janta put their names on Asee's daughter's birth certificate and become her parents. The couple also have a daughter.
Atong & Philai Atong is forced to leave monkhood to marry Philai. Pihilai is a spoiled rich brat who was arranged to marry Achai but because Achia bought home Reynu, Philai had to marry the 2nd son instead. They get married and Atong becomes a quiet obedient puppy. Philai commits many crimes and gets away with all of them and the couple divorce.
Antong & Boonplook Boonplook leaves Antong's bedroom after doing the deed and she is caught by Yoi. They get married the next day. They have a child together.
Asee & Wanna Asee is a young, playful teenager who develops a one sided love for Wanna. Wanna is the younger sister of Asee's first sister in law Reynu. He continues to court her. Mala has a one sided love for Asee and put a curse on him. Mala ends up pregnant with Asee's child and later gives birth to a girl. Asee drown's and passes away because of the curse. Wanna realizes after his death that she is in love with him.
Wanna & Jinnakorn Years later Wanna moves on and marry's Jinnakorn. They have a daughter together.
a little rant: Why on earth did Philai get a happy ending when she hurt so many people's lives ? also yes Atong is a good guy but he got on my nerves because he just let everything happen and at the end he wanted to stay married to her. Like what's wrong with his brain ?
It was nice and simple drama. Even though the drama has many lives it didn't feel overwhelming. It starts to get interesting within 6-7 eps. If they made a sequel with the leads daughter as the female lead I would watch it.
