I don't think they would change the cast because it's a movie version of the first frost so it wouldn't make sense…
that's different though 1. in hidden love it was based on Sang Zhi's view so Sang Zhi sees Sang Yan as like a funny, really caring brother but if you've watched the first frost or watched the novel you would know that he is different. 2. The actor, Victor Ma says he doesn't want to play like romance roles (that's what I've seen ppl say so I'm not sure if it's 100% true). 3. The first frost novel is really popular (likely more popular than the hidden love novel) and probably has a bigger fanbase and Victor Ma is not really an actor, he is more of a rapper so it wouldn't make sense at ALL to cast someone who can't really act really well for a role so big with a large fan base. If they did cast him then the cast and crew would receive a lot of criticism so obviously they wouldn't cast Victor Ma.
So yeah, it wouldn't make sense to change the cast of the first frost when there already is one and it's literally already airing.

I haven't watched today's episode yet but can someone tell me if MCY has finally gotten the hint that WYF DOESN'T like him yet? I seriously find him so creepy and weird, I really hope WYF will/has stand up for herself.
The way Mu Cheng Yun keeps pestering the fl is so annoying, not only that but he also invades her personal space and just casually invites himself into her house! If this is not creepy behaviour then I don't know what is.
Finally finished watching this drama and I've decided to do a couple ranking as well!: 1st: 4th couple (I think most of us can agree that their story was the best one) 2nd: 1st couple 3rd: 5th couple 4th: 3rd couple 5th: 2nd couple 6th: 6th couple
I really like how at the end they showed us each couple's sweet moments, I really enjoyed watching that bit. I hope that Ke Ying and Liang YongQi in the future can get another drama together as main leads because I REALLY liked their chemistry, it was so perfect 🥹.
