If you like Nakatsu you will definitely not be disappointed with the Japanese version. Ikuta Toma's acting was brilliant in it and it made Nakatsu my favourite Jdrama character of all time. I was never interested in the Mizuki-Sano plot and because I was concerned with Nakatsu the drama was fine for me. :)

I must say I haven't heard many great things about the Taiwanese version but I'd still want to watch it because Jiro plays Nakatsu in that. How awesome!

I haven't seen Otomen but there are several great dramas of Japanese. My first one was Hana Yori Dango. You can watch any of the popular ones. :)
