Thanks for the article^^ It's really good! Even though I love the good guys, because they are really kind and…
The bad boy always has something which will force you to love him, no matter how good the second lead is. :D

The whole time I was reading this article, I kept thinking "Hana Yori Dango". But there are so many…
Hana Yori Dango/Boys before Flowers. It applies perfectly well to both versions. That is why at the beginning of the article is a picture of Gu Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo (Tsukasa and Rui of the Korean version).

I forgot this point in the article. Sometimes I can hate the second lead too because he is coming in between the lead pair. :D
But as I said, nice guys can be boring but it is hard to hate them. :)

Very interesting article, addicted. :) I don't think we will ever have a clear answers as to why we should support…
Thanks! Glad you liked it! :)

I totally agree with your point here. Some viewers tend to confuse the actor with the character. I wish we could get more solid characterizations other than the usual kind we get to watch in the bad boy of every drama.

I almost never like the heroines in dramas (apart from a handful). I always have to force myself to think about their good points in order to appreciate them properly. But then, these kinds of things are limited to the fictional world. Real world works in a very different way.

I know, right?! Happens a lot of times with me too! I just can't help but like the nice guy even though his fate is predestined. But then, maybe the appeal of the second lead lies in the fact that we know he isn't going to get the girl, hence we sympathize with him more.

Tu na ek number ki pagal hai. Nice guy ke sath shaadi boring hogi.. accha beta. Toh tu ja aur ek playboy pati se shaadi kiyo jo puri zindagi dusri ladkiyo ko taadta rahega. :P

Hey! How are you doing?
I saw your comment there. Did you enjoy the editorial? :)

I saw a film recently that illustrates perfectly my point to Becca below. The roles are reversed, but the message…
"With movies and dramas we can live vicariously through the characters and escape our own world for a bit. I think we need that as human beings sometimes, but of course it's always nice with a little diversity every once in a while! :)" >>> Exactly!! :D

Hopefully though in real life and in dramas you can inspire the "bad" boy to become a better person.…
I understand your point of view. However, in dramas there are some stereotypical characters and that is why you can categorize them under 'good' or 'bad'. For example, I can tell you so many reasons why Dokko Jin was 'bad' and Pil Joo was 'good' in The Greatest Love. Sometimes you can automatically see which one is the better character and who deserves the girl more.

As for real life, I would definitely not want to be with someone who puts me through crap no matter how "attractive" he is. Like you said, if he can decide to change himself then it can be considered. :)

In the dramaverse the bad guy is attractive to me because the idea of that type of guy falling in love with an…
But then that's how it works with every drama/TV show/book involving bad boys. They are always known to cause heartbreaks. That is why our mothers always tell us not to fall for bad boys. :D

"Bad boys" are very attractive- I agree to this! But I just wish there some more alternate kind of endings to dramas.

A drama where the girl abandons both? I'd like to watch it! Can you tell which drama it is?

Yoona got the Best Actress award? Hahaha. Okay, she isn't that good. I mean I don't dislike her acting. I found it to be alright. But I definitely wouldn't give an award to her for her performance. You're right. Maybe because she is in SNSD and has hordes of fans she was handed out the award.

And believe me, the last 2-3 episodes of Love Rain are worth skipping. I was bored by then too. Especially the relationship of their parents put me to sleep. I only saw the parts of Yoona and JGS and skipped to the last episode.

It was slow and I didn't really like it at the beginning and kept it on-hold. Then after I watched a month later, I liked it a LOT!

Of course, I prefer the present era but the 70s one had a nice feeling to it. I also watched it for Jang Geun Suk. :D
He did a fabulous job in it. Even Yoona wasn't too bad. Ending was bit of a let down, but it was happy one so I am okay with that! Ha Na and Joon's love was great according to me. You should check out my review if you'd like to read my detailed views on it. :)

That's great! But it is bound to lose some of its appeal by the 16th or 17th episode. 20 episodes is too long according to me.

Love Rain was another such drama/melodrama. 20 episodes long and it did tire me out eventually. I loved it in spite of that!

Innocent Man... ahhh. I've been waiting to for it to end so that I can marathon through it. :D Is it still that good or did it start going downhill because that happens with every drama.

And the reason why you see Reply 1997 so many times is because of some problem that came up since today morning in my Favorites list. All dramas are repeating numerous times and it shows current total as 3500! ROFL.
