I think the point of mortal realm for Ying Yuan was to "practice" rebellion and question the "rules" he's been taught to obey. Similarly for Yan Dan it was to second guess someone's actions and understand that Ying Yuan always meant well.
Glad to see the point they're trying to make here but wish it was less draggy and more romantic scenes. :(
LLTG and LBFD are also good depend on personal preferences. The wrong is these three dramas (+IS) were launched…
Actually all 3 dramas are different. LLTG isn't fantasy at all and LBFD is also different from IS.
Bottom line here is the end results is always dependent on popularity of actors and not on how well someone like Cheng Yi can act. Unfortunately it doesn't show good the drama really is. But it does sadden me because IS deserves more than it's achieving.
