Great article! This has crossed my mind several times about the weird translations. It's also funny as hell. The word oppa is clear to me now, but it still makes me cringe a bit. Thank goodness because the first time I came across words like unnie, oppa, etc. the subber had been nice enough to write the meaning in the brackets. However the next drama I watched, unnie ended up being spelled as 'eonni' and I found myself confused. LOL.

Sometimes I do not look at the subs when I understand what they say. Plus studying the language helps.

Anyway, subbing is hard work and I always feel grateful to those who do the translation. :D

No SuJu isn't my favorite. Although I do love it a lot. :)

I understand. Sometimes we have high expectations from a drama and then... nothing happens.

I thought it would get better later on because I really loved Reply 97 but this was such a downer it seems.

The ending... gosh. I anticipated it from ep 1 and kept the drama on-hold since forever. Now it goes into my "dropped" list. I thought maybe for once there would be an unpredictable ending. Plus something about it just about didn't work for me at all. Anyone else feels this way?

Actually when we met each other, that was my major "addict" time. Now I'm not so much of an addict anymore. I only watch select few dramas. I watch lesser than I want to because of time restrictions. There was a major slump period but not anymore. I want to watch a lot, but classes and university take up much of my time. *sigh*

It's hard being a senior and juggling dramas, anime and what-not all together.

Heirs was an eyesore of a drama. That's ironic considering what a great-looking cast it had. However that proves how looks aren't everything. It's weird how even Lee Min Ho made me unable to sit through it past ep 8.
