Yeah. The adaptation seems fine but in general Taiwanese dramas tend to be so slow. I don't quite like that about this drama too.

I don't have a cut off age for MDL friends lol. I can get along fine with people younger and older than me. Actually age doesn't matter that much because I find all kinds of opinions worth knowing about. :)

I saw a couple of episodes of Smile You a few months ago and thought most characters were kind of annoying. The memory of Ojakgyo had been fresh in my mind and I ended up comparing both. I really love Ojakgyo so Smile You seemed very lackluster in comparison. My friend told me that the romance in the show was nice though.

I've been in a drama slump for quite some time. I start new dramas and never go beyond the third episode or so. Maybe I'm not interested anymore or I don't find things interesting enough? I hope I can get back the interest soon.

I could recommend The Queen of SOP to you. It's a Chinese drama. It is a bit boring in the second half but there were a lot of good moments in the show. I thought it was well worth my time (even though I had to skip a lot). :)

I also love Girls' Generation! They are the best. :D
