I suggest you go through my list. I don't know which kind of movies to recommend to you. It's been a while since I watched a Japanese movie, actually. As far as I remember 'Hana and Alice' was the one I saw last. It was cute. :)

Buzzer Beat is one of my absolute favorite dramas. I really love the leads in it. They have excellent chemistry with each other. I think you should watch it. You won't be disappointed. :)

I don't watch too many Asian movies. I've found them to be very slow-paced and that sort of bores me. Sometimes when I get bored of English or other language movies, I check an Asian one for a change.

I've found that I like Japanese movies more. They have better plots and I like the way they make movies. It's quite different from Korean movies. :)

LOL really? I like dark stuff too but it depends. Haha. :D

I just watch any genre as long as it seems interesting to me. :)

Yes. It was a pretty sad drama but still very good (in spite of the fact that I hated the ending). :)

I will definitely watch it. :)

What is your favorite genre? Do you have any preferences while watching?

I also rarely watch airing dramas too. I agree that most sequels are let-downs.

I didn't know there was a Korean version of The Queens's Classroom coming up. I've heard a lot of praise about the Japanese version but didn't get to watch it yet. I might check it out during my vacations.

I will wait for the reviews of Reply 1997's second season. Sometimes it is better to wait for dramas to end than wasting weeks anticipating what would happen next. LOL. It saved me from disasters like Big. I had started watching When a Man Loves but it just seemed obvious that it won't stay strong for long. Now I hear every one say it's going to be another Fashion King. :D

The first one is called 49 Days.

No, no. Mary Stayed out all Night isn't that liked. I've been wanting to watch it for JGS too but can't find the courage to do so. LOL.

I am 21 but I still enjoy high school dramas. I am a child that way. Though I don't mind mature stuff too.

Out of the dramas you like I really love Reply 1997 and 49 Days. They are both among the best Kdramas to exist. :)

Alright. I just gave you a recommendation. It's your choice if you want to watch it or not. How old are you btw?

Yes, LIFE started out good but after 5-6 episodes it became too much. I've sworn off Jdramas based on bullying and abuse completely. I had also seen one called as 'Last Friends' and trust me, it was horrible and disgusting.

I have lots of drama that I love but not a top most drama. Do you?

Nope! My exams are going too so I don't get time to watch much.

I'd like to recommend Yankee-kun to Megane-chan to you. It's a school Jdrama and it might seem overly exaggerated but once you get the hang of the characters, you realize they are all so deep. It's the best school drama I have seen till now. It is funny, silly and meaningful. :)

I loved Shut up Flower Boy band. However I hated LIFE- way too dramatic. And yes, School 2013 is a friendship drama. I have heard of those Kmovies too but that's about it. Whereas majority of Jdramas are on friendship.

Haha yes. Jae Hee is real bitch. I guess that's how stereotypical female villains of Asian dramas are. :P

King of Baking has 10 episodes devoted to childhood? Oh my. That kind of bores me. I don't know why most melodramas-type dramas need to a childhood romance or something injected into the story?! Ah, well. I'll give it a try though it suddenly made me less enthusiastic about watching it.

Have you seen Shining Inheritance?

Don't you like school dramas? I absolutely adore them. That is one of the reasons I can't stop watching Jdramas because their school dramas are so funny!

I honestly have seen very few mature romance dramas. Have you 49 Days? In that there isn't romance as such but the guy Han Kang is very, very complex and has powerful emotions. His love for the girl has been among the best ones I've seen till now.

I am a sucker for cheesy and fluffy romance because I believe Koreans show it really well. :)

BTW Korean dramas and movies are never themed on friendship. There are really few such ones in existence. Mostly Kdramas are romance, revenge or melodrama. I think that sums it up well. :D
