I think three movies on a single book is a tad too much. They could have squeezed it into two. It's alright that they saved up the part about the dragon though. Makes me more excited. I loved that best! :)

And I remember very vague details from the book. I read it years ago. Hobbit was always my least favourite compared to LOTR.

I also thought it's a movie for the fans. I thought the effects were really impressive. The orcs were given more importance this time. But it feels weird without Sauron around. LOL. I liked how they kept throwing hints about 'darkness' and new evil growing. Hehe. Watching Gandalf and Gollum and made me feel more at home. :P
I was always a sucker for the elves but this movie made me like dwarfs at a whole new level. I liked how passionate they were to get back what they had lost. I didn't remember liking them that much in the book even though I used to love Gimli in LOTR.

It seemed like Hobbit was for the dwarfs and LOTR for the elves. I've always had a crush on Aragorn and Legolas. They seem so grand and sophisticated. :)

I really loved Queen In Hyun's Man, Reply 1997, Shut Up: Flower Boy Band and Love Rain from 2012! I am also liking Arang and the Magistrate. :)

Looks like 2012 was the year of melodramas.

Hana Yori Dango and Full House are special to me. But I absolutely hated Devil Beside You. LOL. :D

I am fairly new to Taiwanese dramas. And yes- there is good action in Black & White but it drags on in the middle. The drug addict is only there for 4 episodes so you could just skip his scenes and move on to the rest of it if you feel like it. He isn't that important to the plot. I rather thought he was entertaining. LOL. :D

I also keep making my list large and then delete most of them. But I find myself adding new stuff too. Haha. There are very few Taiwanese dramas that seem like worth the time.

Anyway- I agree about Korean dramas. They are better to look at with good fashion, lots of eye candy and cute romance. I just hate the way they make melodramas. They include too much doom for me to digest.

I also love Japanese dramas. I prefer them if I want to watch a drama with a good plot. :)

I have been hearing about Miss Rose. Seems like lots of people got disappointed by it. Never mind though. One less drama for me to watch. :D

I don't like how Taiwanese dramas get so dragged and they use cliches so much. In fact, I find that they drag much more than Korean dramas.

Even When Love Walked In will get dragged during the last 6-7 episodes if I am to believe some comments I read. :P
Have you ever seen Black & White? It's the best Taiwanese production that I know of.

I put Material Queen on-hold but I am loving that too. :D

Okay great! That definitely gives me motivation to check out SOP. I like dramas where the girl ends up with the friend for once. But I like Godfrey and he is too hot to lose out. LOL. :D

And are you enjoying When Love Walked In? It has a cheesy plot but I liked what I saw. I might actually watch it on viki if it doesn't get subbed anywhere. I want to finish watching it for some reason. :)

And I see you're on episode 14 of When Love Walked In. I'm stuck on episode 9 since September because dramacrazy doesn't have the subs and viki sucks for me. I've put it off for so long and I am still interested in the story. I like Victoria Song. :)

And while stalking your list I noticed Queen of SOP on it. Doesn't it drag on for too much? 33 is episodes is too long for any drama. That's why I haven't started it. :|

Arang and the Magistrate is a pretty cute drama. I am loving it so far. :)

Summer's Desire isn't that great. Barbie is too plastic in it and the leads are all annoying. I was intrigued by the plot at first when I read great opinions on it from people. Turns out it wasn't the one for me. :|
