Oh god you're so hateful for no apparent. Honestly I see why the fl would be annoyed. She thought he was a bad…
agree lol and that too only from watching 3 eps? At least give it 6-8 eps before you make a decision. You can't tell how a building is gonna look just from glimpsing at the foundation.
When the show started and seon woo went through to the secret base at his workplace, and then came out of his laywer friend's office, I thought there is just one secret base but then after watching more and realizing how far the 2 places (eunkang company and lawyer's home) are, I was like there is no way its the same base since there's no tunnel or anything and no component of fantasy where he disappears from one place and reappears in the other. After watching ep11, I again thought maybe there is only 1 secret base..
So, can someone please clarify is there one secret base or 2? And how does he enter the base from his company but comes out of his lawyer friend's house? Did I miss something
Asian film industry is a scary scary world. Glamorous from far yes but scary if you come closer. Brings out such ugly sides of people. He cheated? Well you could have slapped him lile there's no tomorrow and then thrown him out of the house or whatever and never looked in his direction. That's maturity coz shit happens in life. But taking him back and plotting revenge? What are you 3? -_-
Couldn't agree more! I'm actually quite annoyed with this drama cause it had all the ingredients to be spectacular,…
I wonder too! Like how did we go from liking a cute round face with cheeks that you can pinch, to the cheeckless boneful look lol.
No I didn't but I do agree. Doesn't matter what country's people have plastic surgery done, if this keeps happening a time will come when people won't look much different from each other because how many different faces can be created from an artificial source after all.
As I said before, plastic surgery is NOT the problem. I would even say sometimes the docs need to learn to say no to irrational requests. Those people need someone to tell them "you're beautiful just the way you are" and ofc less pressure from society and their idols which is where the film industry comes in.
It indeed is a never ending convo lol but it was definitely lovely to find like minded people online. You often see the youngsters who are blinded by the superficial beauty that they don't see what happening inside. I started watching dramas when I was really young and had reached a stage where I thought I need to book a flight to Korea (from my parent's money ofc lol this is a few years ago), to have some kind of surgery done since you hear how good plastic surgery is in Korea. I am glad I met some lovely people who changed my mind and made me realise what I was about to do. So now I just enjoy the dramas and pretend the people I see on screen are from a different world, like there is dramaland and then there is the real world I live in.

@rationalbeings totally agree! They want to make them way out of our leagues lol but it's really sad since the companies are manipulating these individuals who don't really get to have a personal opinion anymore. Forget about bigger things, they can't even choose what they wear sometimes and you see how uncomfortable they look in some of the dresses their designers choose for them :(
Lol it looks like everyone is going towards that "voldamorty" look what with the obsession of smaller (almost disappearing intot he void) nose, sharp cheekbones (that can slice butter or some random thing people like to say in books) and ofc the pointed chin. It also makes a lot of people (actor or not) similar imo. I feel like if this continues, in a few years, we're gonna have a lot of clones without really being twins or something, since all this is snatching away the real individual beauty which is specific to a particular person.

@rationalbeings so so true! I sometimes feel like I'm losing confidence thinking about all the actors/actresses we see in dramaland and need to remind myself to separate the world of dramaland from real world. I feel for the people who play these characters as they are almost forced to maintain a certain image despite what they feel or want. Reading about some of the diets they're on had me shocked.
I do agree people in kdramas feel somewhat less otherworldly than those in cdramas, although I've noticed a change there as well over the past few years. I remember when I started watching kdramas nearly a decade ago, the actor/ actresses seemed a lot more human and less like someone who you think are in a different league than us mere humans lol Its crazy how technology is shaping our way of thinking. There's definitely the goods in it but you can't deny the bads in it either. And the sad thing is we've reached a stage where we are so dependent on these things that a whole deep cleaning is required on a mental and emotional level to "cleanse" us out of these unhealthy thoughts

This thread! I recently deleted all the beauty cam apps and social media apps from my phone since they were kinda taking over my sane thoughts tbh. Just like you guys mentioned, you start to think I wish I looked this way, I wish I didn't have that mark and so on. I never thought about how we are pretty much letting an AI decide how we should look "perfect" That is deep and will definitely stick around in my head whenever I get the temptation to follow in the footsteps of my friends who are sucked in this cruel world of "perfectism" I do remember a good quote I heard somewhere on SNS which said, "If you don't like yourself without a filter, how do you expect the world to like you without filters" I thought it was beautiful and something we all need to keep in mind. Makeup is great and if someone needs to use makeup or plastic surgery to gain more confidence, that's alright but when it reaches a point where we call looking like a barbie doll or a robot with no flaw and having that perfect smooth appearance which almost looks photoshopped, THAT is unhealthy, both physically, mentally and emotionally.
Am I supposed to be angry or sad rn? Like seriously were they so horny that they didn't realize the need to go…
I'm glad I could help! Like it was a beautiful drama and I was like FINALLY! a drama that I can put in my not too bad list but then the ending happened. I was laughing and angry and sad at the same time lol
Am I supposed to be angry or sad rn? Like seriously were they so horny that they didn't realize the need to go to the hospital? Seriously the dude got stabbed 3 times! And how many times did you shoot the bad guy? That's right ONCE! And one thing we know is that bad guys NEVER I MEAN NEVER die with just 1 bullet wound since they seem to have some random magical powers. Like OMG the whole time they were kissing I was like I'm not feeling too good about this and then what he dies!
Also is the ml replica in the last 5 secs supposed to make us feel better? Are they seriously gonna give us a duplicate and say here ya go be happy. tbh ruined the whole series for me. If he had died in a more original and believable way, might have been better rather than them killing him off randomly just for the sake of it and playing with our emptions.
you can never bring successful people down just because you dislike them. nahhh life will never work that way.…
You have every right to dislike her my friend since that's your personal opinion but I don't see the need to portray a negative opinion on a public site. As they say if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all : )
I thought I will finally give this a go since I adored DOTS K version but 65 episodes? Sorry I'm outta here. Guess I better rewatch kversion or maybe some scenes from this version on youtube or something
