might seem average for us, but in douban, anything more than 7 is considered good. a lot of dramas who you might think are “good” actually have low ratings in douban like 5.9 or below. an example is TTEOTM. when it finished airing, it had a 5.7 rating on douban, while having a solid 8.8 on mdl.
