i have my issues with khemjira (mostly bc of namphing), but the chemistry wasn't one. there's just no chemistry between net and jj. it's like they didn't even workshop together.

um no? like i said, even when kong wasn't saying nothing and only holding the door open for nakhun, that interaction had more chemistry than any of the moments net and jj interacted.

i wasn't a fan of the previous pairing either lol i think a lot of it comes from jj's very... limited skills as an actor.

after really enjoying khemjira (and loving the currently airing duang with you)... this show is so hard to watch, i have to play the eps on 2x speed. i guess this will make me a "hater." net is a great actor, but there is no chemistry with him and jj (who seemed to have more chemistry with the servant kong). very rough.

it's not true. they use very COMMON tropes. however, the stories are very different. it's clear you didn't even bother to read the source material for either. most beautiful count was very poorly adapted by change but the original story tackled a lot issues such as colorism and topics impacting the lgbtq community in thailand. while love upon a time is just a typical transmigration story.

the script writer is a big fan of removing queer romance from the stories as she doesn't like it and thinks it weakens her vision.

ok and i've also read the novel. how you interpret it and how i did are clearly different. chao ai to me was more CENTRAL while thayu and kanfah were more secondary leads. also, both the scriptwriter and the author have confirmed they won't focus on the romance and have advised fans the series will be different from the novel in many aspects. :)

chao ai was much more prominent in the novel and is more of the central character. and the scriptwriter already confirmed the series will not be following the novel much :)

important info for the series: this will BARELY be a romance. both the author and scriptwriter (who purposefully removes romance from queer stories) have said there won't be a focus on love in the series. the central character is chao ai, so ouroad are playing sort of background characters. there is no guaranteed happy ending.
