I'm so proud of myself now that I've finished it. This was a masterpiece indeed. You can actually feel all the strong emotions that the actors are conveying. There were also a lot of scenes and lines that made me cry so hard especially when Yom the scum said that his only crime was he was born in Koryo yeah I hated him but he was one of those guys that you didn't expect to be so emotional inside, also add the part when the one he loves died ahh the emotions gosh.. and the last scene.. I've been waiting for so long for Nyang to say those words and even though the ending wasn't the best cause it was just so sad like everyone died even the good ones, it was somehow satisfying that the Emperor atleast got to know that Nyang really loved him. I know at some point we all hated Chang wook's character especially when he went crazy but I really pitied him I can't imagine living like a prisoner, being used and with people around who's taking advantage of you and only ends up betraying you. He was childish, selfish and all but I salute his loyalty to Nyang and hey! he proved a lot to Nyang especially when he had to sacrifice his self just to assure Nyang and Ayu's place. Okay well that was long and a lot of SPOILER hahaha I'm just so emotional right now I don't want it to end. :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
I really really really wanna love this drama because of SOLIM (wgm memories) but... the story is just frustating, disappointing and a mess that I couldn't even bring myself to watch it anymore even for the both of them. I was so hype for this bc 50 EPS OF SOLIM and I expected so much sigh... :((((((((( I hope SOLIM couple would have another kdrama that doesn't have a shitty storyline.
The casting of Ji Chang Wook and Yoona was what initially attracted me to this drama and while I was fully aware…
I agree, i wish they wrote a more deeper/emotional/traumatic history rather than a foreigner lover, it just didn't click and fit the vibe of the story..
The only criticism i have is how slow paced it is to get to the real story, i think he could have been a bodyguard…
really unnecessary like i didnt even expect a dead lover past would pop up like it could've been about a friend or family or maybe some personal issues plus the 2ne1 omg i cannot...
I'm inlove already! JCW is just amazing! People who says that they're disappointed and already planning to drop this kdrama are probably just not into action-heavy/thriller/mysterious/dark genre dramas. Based from the summary/description it's obvious that this is not going to be filled with lovey-dovey scenes unlike Healer? there are probably some but mostly action, I think? and let's not judge from one episode only. Anyway, lets support all the actors. I'm so happy to see JCW again it brings back the healer memories ♥ I can't wait for the next ep.
at first i really wanted to ship ha won to hyun min but then after he confessed he realized that he really loves hye ji.. what a jerk lol (i still love you tho jae hyoen) feels like he just toyed with ha won. anyway i hated ji woon but then i like him now feels so good that he stop giving hye ji special treatment and starting to act based on his own feelings now. but daaamn i feel so bad for seo woo :((((((((((
