I have been hesitant about watching this drama, always like 'should i? Should I not?", but your article makes me want to give a try. Though to be honest, if the drama doesn't live up to my expectations, and I drop it, I'd rather come back and read your article again. Very well written, like creating a painting in verse. Well done.
The j-Dorama was amazing! they do manage to capture the concept of quirkiness without going overboard. Agree with many, the female lead will make it or break it for me. In the original, for me, she was the catalyst for everything. But Shim Eun Kyung is good at these characaters, so keeping fingers crossed now.!!
Oh Gosh! I tried watching the trailer, barely 10 seconds into it, and I had to stop. didn't know if I should cry or laugh! both maybe would be better....!
it is a more like a short story with each snapshot filled with rich color/ feeling beautifully captured. Sort of nostalgic yet conyemporary at the same time
Actually quite randomly I saw, there is a Thai drama around (dunno if I just saw a trailer or something) similar to Princess TuTu. As far as I remember, the girl changes from a little bluebird to a girl and back. In bird form, somehow ends up being rescued by the male lead who owns a grouchy cat, a real one! The trailer was cute, and when they showed the girl in blue feathers costume when she was supposed to be in birdform but saying dialogue. Maybe someone knows this.
Oh so true!! I just went into a burn out after 2 years, and so true about variety. I clicked on Cool Kidz, got hooked on the basketball edition and the rest is history :) So now am recuperating by watching Family Outing Season 1 (I think that was the best) and Cool Kidz; then am gonna try some others.
