I knew about the cancelled/unreleased dramas but I'm so heartbroken, I watched Our Times a few weeks ago and deliberately didn't read any reviews or comments because I wanted to form my own opinions... But then got hit with that cliffhanger ending and no S2 without warning 😭 I can't believe!! His character was SO INTERESTING and he deserved so much more!!!

Same here, I've dropped most of his dramas because he always seems to either be paired with a horribly annoying FL or the rest of the drama has problems. He is such a great actor that I'm always hopeful for him though!

I dropped it the first time I tried watching because of the ML, but went back to it for Wang Ye lol. I did skip around a lot but by the end I liked the ML a LOT more and I’m now rewatching properly and he doesn’t bother me near as much.

Forever grateful to this drama and Hou Minghao for giving us the character of Wang Ye. I honestly don’t think there’s a character like him in any cdrama and HMH is just *chef’s kiss* casting. So so happy to see he’s returning for season 2!!

Deserved! He’s the most interesting character imo, and really unique in cdramaland. Hou Minghao portrayed him perfectly!

Between this and H&L, somehow yankee genre has become one of my favorites haha

Every aspect of this casting is 😍🤌 Based on that alone I think it's the drama I'm most looking forward to right now. I hope the writing is as good as this cast deserves!

What do you mean?? Zhang Yunlong has done a great job in past roles. Maybe the characters weren't to your liking but that's not his fault as an actor. He was amazing (actually the best part imo) in "My Roommate is a Detective." I'm excited to see him again in this role!

DYX is such a great actor, but I have yet to finish a single drama with him in it because he always seems to be paired with the most annoying FLs 😭 I couldn't make it through the first episode of this one. No hate to Esther Yu because I know she's a talented actress, but the cutesy voice is unbearable!

Tang Fan is a great character for those of us who haven't read the novel. He is the reason I fell in love with that drama!
