I loved episode 9 for many reasons but mostly because it cleared most of the doubts and questions every one has been having since the first two episodes.... regardless of whether some feel like they needed a big plot twist..iam super glad the writer didn't make things awkward and just stuck to the simple revelations...now we know what Kangho was thinking, we know why he was doing what he did, we know his opinion of his mother and what he feels towards her...that's more than enough for me...now I just hope we can get rid of these crooks some how and just have Kangho lie in his mom's arms like he wished❤️

It was never meant to be a twist to begin with....the episode and his pov was more of clarification.....I'd rather an explanation with no loop holes than a twist that makes zero sense...iam glad he ain't as bad as the people that killed his dad and ruined his and his mom's life

The acting, whoever thought it was a good idea to get Ra mi ran and lee do Hyun on the same screen thought right, these two have a really powerful range..and their scenes together are magic whether they are crying or laughing...it's all Soo good Aside from them we get good acting from every character in the series, Mijoo( I've never loved a female lead this much), the kids, Sam sik the villagers, every one realised their role and just decided to slay while doing it.
The story, this is emotional, realistic,sad , relatable, insane,like a story that's gonna make you feel all the emotions there is to feel, anger, sadness, frustration, happiness, sorrow, empathy,pain...it gave all that to me and we only 9 episodes in😂 and it's flowing...and pacing are exactly what it needed and how does it get better every episode
So what I appreciate the most if the imperfect and grey characters..the characters are not the saints and the overly good and perfect characters, every one feels so human and relatable.
Mostly it targetted a really sensitive topic,parenting and lines you can cross to be the bad mother without even realising it...who is a good mom and who is a bad mom..maybe the answer is that no one is...it's all in the middle...
Anyways I could go all day....but sincerely speaking..this is so far my best drama of 2023

Okay she's scared call it me sugar coating her wrong doings but she saw what those people managed to do to her son ( the accident) iam not sure she knows they did it but I guess she put the pieces together......she wanted to get justice for her husband but I don't think she wants it now at the cost of her son's life.....
The line: “ what I truly wanted to avenge was your life that they destroyed and made you a bad mother to your beloved son...." This had me in tears with all the flash backs🥺
I didn't want a plot twist..I just wanted to know where Kang ho fell at the moment and iam glad that he didn't and never turned out as bad as the people who took his dad's life....can't wait for more...love how everything was well explained in just an episode but that ending scene...damn
Just can't help imagine how both mom and son's life would have actually been if the dad never died... because that's where it all went wrong with both of them💔
But iam glad that regardless...it was still mom and son doing all these hurtful things to protect each other

Well personally love it, the chemistry between the leads is top notch and their interactions are worth swooning over, nothing cringe....and the work place setting is pretty much nice too
I have no complaints...this drama is one of those dramas where an episode ends without me realising and am left to just reminiscing about it...iam always giggling and punching the air with the leads interactions and laughing my heart out...last time I felt like this was nothing but you 2023 C drama...iam glad I have this one too❤️

We are getting his POV today so maybe that question will be answered too but personally I doubt he killed them..not after caring to even tell the mom to wrap her child up since it might get cold
We are getting Kang ho's POV today, from his life after he left the hometown to study law to his time to the time he became the person we get to see in the first two episodes....I've seen every ones story now I need to see his so I can't wait...iam only getting the episode an hour later🥲
