character growth is evident in this drama...if you have been carefully watching the series then you will notice the growth in their characters for now more so on the female leads side..she's evolving and finding her self again and so are her dreams...the latest episode must have shown the male lead to be petty and childish because of how he was turning Into a cold person towards the FL to hide his feelings but it's all part of the process of him figuring out his feelings and how to handle them...that's why after taking up advise from different people he decided to stop hiding and to confess how he feels...to be honest I love how the leads relationship is written..it doesn't feel like they are rushing into anything and neither does it come off as slow..we seeing two friends realising feelings for eachother feeling conflicted about how to handle those feelings and slowly starting to accept their feelings and soon enough will transition into lovers...their entire relationship dynamic is what I call a slow burn and it's inevitable.
As for why Seok ryu is putting up with her ex Iam sure there must be an explanation.... something we haven't been told....
I keep loving seokryu with every episode...I just love how she was written, she's perfectly flawed, but at the same time owns up to it...she has struggles and problems but at the same time is out spoken..I feel like there is more to reveal about her character...but I just love how relatable she is....in like all aspects.
another favourite character is mo Eum...she's a whole mood...

I mean we have Seokryu..whose perfectly flawed, and is trying to discover her self after feeling like she doesn't know who she was anymore...she's healing and rediscovering her self
we have Seunghyo whose calm, collected but also conflicted as a person
Mo eum whose energetic, bubbly lively and represents us viewers as she's the #1 CP shipper of the leads.
Dan ho who gives major clack Kent vibes, he's righteous and a tad bit dorky and hallarious
And then more support characters like the fls mom and dad and more to be honest I feel like most of the characters are adding a specific charm to the series with each having their own unique personalities
That confession had me screaming FINALLY because if I had one more Episode of him hiding his feelings by being cold towards her ( which I understand because he's conflicted but still can't excuse his behaviour) then I could have...but Iam glad he's spoken out how he feels now all that's left to do is how their relationship transitions...
The drama keeps getting better..it's refreshing

Lee goon officially has his own villain origin story...like I would never blame him if he chose to become evil...a shitty family, a shitty brother and many more shitty people in his life..
It's rare for me to find almost all the characters in a show interesting but in this drama every one is interesting in their own way...they are all funny, each with their own character and personality and I love how they are naturally funny and have great comedic timing....
Damn these guys are so shameless.... pretending to be his friend out of guilt of whatever they are hiding for him....it's even more of a pity that all they will do at the end of the day is apologize to him and that's it.....they are all so suspicious and they aren't even trying to hide it....the guy at the police station ( he looks really suspicious each time they mention that buyeong was raped like he saw something or even did it himself) then the nurse.....and then their dads that are clearly covering up their crimes, the police chief, the twin brothers who both seem to know something with Su oh being a witness and geon oh probably being a witness too who was dragged out of the town by his dad......this feels like a crime that everyone took part in in one way or another...can't wait for the big reveal because this drama had me on the edge
