Well, I disagree and also agree. If she goes on the elevator it'll be faster to get away from the ghost. If she didn't go on the elevator and took the stairs instead with no lights at all... O_O that would've taken longer, and more scarier? Idunno

Nah I think that's the right time. Because I think they still have to go through solving ghosts problems together for the next 16 episodes. Did that make sense?
