true, not many do. The ML in King the Land asked FL for permission before kissing, it didnt take away from the heat of the moment. I agree in this drama the FL let ML kiss her, i think about all the times after that when she verbally said no, he could have backed off, but like I said, maybe its just me that felt it could have been more evidently consensual. fair enough, does happen in almost every k drama. Lovely runner comes to mind when the ML went in for a kiss and the FL backed up a bit and ML stopped until FL went in for the kiss herself. IMO that scene was pretty hot 🔥

he confessed to her by kissing her, WITHOUT CONSENT, she said she didnt like it. He persists. She doesnt want anything to do with him but her male friend keeps pushing them to be together by creating situations for them. She has a literal cast on her foot and yet she choses to run away from a restaurant to avoid the ML. Then later when they go on a trip she confronts him by saying shes uncomfortable and wants to stay friends. Theres sappy music in the background, while SHES SAYING SHES UNCOMFORTABLE, and he says HE LIKES HER BEING UNCOMFORTABLE BECUASE HES ON HER MIND. The literal definition of stalking and not LISTENING to the lady. If the ML didnt have his looks and there wasnt cutesy BG music, and instead creepy music, we would all be scared. Rant over. Still might watch it, nothing else good on nowadays. Nothing wrong with first love being unrequited, but consent is important no matter who/what/where.

This is probably just me but I was annoyed with the non-consensual kiss at the end of ep 4. Lemme vent in the spoilers
