I just saw 2 of those characters. In Secret Garden I loved Kim Sung Oh as secretary Kim and it took me half of Man fro Nowhere to realize that its the same actors as secretary Kim.

My friend was aved by An Jun Can acting in MARS.

Those two pulled of a really really good show.

Actually many of japanese Taiga are long. After Yae no Sakura I'll start "Ryoma den" or "Taira no Kiyomori" depending on the subs.

This is nothing like Gokusen, though they do some lil jokes about Yae being stronger than many guys. You should still try watching it.

Hey Sleepy,

now Yae is not an ordinary girl, but up to ep 18( watching now) she didn't wield a sword. No matter how extra ordinary she is and the whole drama is about her, but her life isn't that exciting. I hope it gets more exciting by the time Joe Odagiri is full cast.

The drama overall is very much to my liking, but its not an action packed thriller. It's about a long timespan, but the things shown aren't that fast paced. I like it. It is better than stuff like Playful Kiss or Hana Kimi.
