I'm from Europe. Most people do not know the history of the occupation of Korea or the history of how Japan oppressed…
I think I have more knowledge than after studying history for several years. Among others, in Germany. And I assume you are German... I see you are proud of the devastation of Europe. And the German Order: the Teutonic Order, the German order, the Order of the Hospital of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the German House in Jerusalem... well, they were not Germans... Really? The discussion concerns the Korean series, the occupation of Korea by the Japanese and is very comparable to what the Germans did in concentration camps. So keep it on topic.

How is a fact what happened in history a political statement ? And since when is art form not a critique on culture…
Probably Japanese, because your views are extremely Japanese. Why are you defending Japan if it's a political issue and we're referring to the series? Japan doesn't just have Korea on its "death list", if you read the history correctly. If it weren't for the Allied attack, they would probably have tormented the Asian nations for a long time. I am from Europe, we also have "those" here who pretend that the Prussians are not them, the Teutonic Order are not them, and the Nazis are not them either. And they're all German. We are talking about the series, about the fact that it shows what Japanese scientists did, and they paid for it? Indicate when? Because as far as I know, never.

Why?
Maybe some nations are just born evil? Maybe on every continent there must be one that causes death, tears and suffering? The Japanese scientists from the experiments (731) never paid, were never prosecuted, and never apologized to the victims. They did not have a European Nuremberg (although the Germans also pretend that the Nazis are not them). This series shows facts, shows what evil can look like. Japanese fans have no right to offend anyone, they should apologize.

wow so many of you don't know that Korea was a Japanese colony for around 35 years, and they suffered a lot. i'm…
I'm from Europe. Most people do not know the history of the occupation of Korea or the history of how Japan oppressed the Koreans. Women were taken to camps for the pleasure of the Japanese. Japanese doctors did a lot of research on people, they were worse than Dr. Mengels from Nazi (German) death camps, but they never paid for their crimes. They had no trial, ( liky Norymberg in Europe) they just got away with the responsibility. Such films show us that there is evil in this world, hidden under the mask of "new technologies", a friendly approach and being a superpower like the Japanese and Germans. Because in Europe there were: Prussians, Teutonic Knights, Nazis, but they were all Germans, and in Korea there were Japanese. They should pay for it. Evil never disappears, it remains and awakens whenever we least expect it

Why does my favorite Kim Ji Hoon always play very bad characters? Great series, let's see how it goes. Does anyone know webtoon? Does it have a positive or negative ending?

well, the webtoon had sad ending, so it never really was supposed to be happyend...
Oh, it's good that I wasn't tempted by Webton, I understand tragic endings and I know that they give more viewers, but so far I have emotional problems with Moon Lovers Scarlett Hert Ryeo, Till the End of the Moon or similar.

This series is just adorable. The main character fits the character perfectly. There is great chemistry between them and it is very watchable. I hope they don't spoil the ending.

I watched this series with great anticipation and pleasure. The story from Silla was beautifully done and the actors looked great in historical costumes. However, the ending was very disappointing. It was supposed to be a happy ending and in some form it was (something like in Goblin for "Lee Dong Wook") However, for me it was a different character, different people and they did not remember their tragic past, much less their love. It could have been done completely differently, so that they both would get their happy ending in this life in which they fought for it. However, I really like such conventions in TV series and I highly recommend the series.

It's not a drama for everyone, exactly because there is literary no drama in this and no misunderstandings etc.…
That's true. For me, this is the first Asian series that I don't like, and I really like both actors. I watched a lot of Korean and Chinese series and each of them had something I liked, and some were simply magical. Recently, Only for love, with Bailu and Dylan Wang, was great for me, the Korean ones are also good. This one just doesn't grab me
On Love Me, Love My Voice Dec 13, 2023
Terribly boring. I like the main character, but the girl is just boring and annoying. I feel like I'm watching a series from Victorian England with elements of stupidity. Slow action, nothing happens, it's probably for kindergarten children. The first drama that I don't like at all. I'm waiting for the second part of Lost you Forever, and UNDER SKIN 2 because this series is below the actor's ambitions.
