Just finished ep 2. I actually like how this series is going. Street ball is a different take on the usual sports theme and I'm here for it. No one seems high school age so I'm just pretending it's a college setting instead because why let that detail ruin it π€·ββοΈ My only hangup is that there really hasn't been much focus or development in Zen & Ryu's relationship. Hopefully that changes a lot in the next episode. As for those who are bashing Ping's acting... just remember that he is only 20 irl! this is only his second series ever. So cut the kids some slack and just enjoy his awkward & sweet cuteness. He'll grow into his acting skills with time and experience. Personally I enjoy the pairing of Meen's serious solid with Ping's clumsy sweetness π₯°
if there weren't such an over use of slow motion they could probably keep another 3 full eps. π That is seriously my best issue with this series... sooo manyyyy slooo moootion screens. Other than this I think the show is absolutely amazing. (There better be a HE tho!)
Joe is just helpless in front of his heart. And this is the only reason I don't mind them getting together. Whatever…
Good point! Maybe if Ming is forever catering to Joe and also starts treating everyone else in the world with respect, he could be redeemable. Joe is just such a soft heart and so used to being a victim that he rarely stands up for himself. I want to wrap him in hearts and bubble wrap and rainbows π
Never have I ever not wanted to main cp to be together with a HE. Not until now anyway. Honestly, no matter what kind of redemption arc Ming has, Joe should not end up with him. When Wut asked Joe why he came back there, I felt it! Go far away and start a new life away from the toxic people like Ming and Tong. It's a big world out there Joe! Go find a better place for yourself in it π«°
I just started watching this today but episode 1 didn't really grab me. Should I give it more episodes to warm…
it really does get so so much better with each episode! I don't really like the stupid in-house bickering of the Jiang females or the overuse of slow motion so I watched those scenes at 1.5 speed. Give it more episodes if you can!
is this really that good? keep seeing it in reddit ππ
It is sooo good! I usually get frustrated with slow burn romances and with silly characters but ngl this show pulls off everything and more! ML & FL are amazing separately and together they areπ₯. The cinematography is beautiful and the story moves along at a good pace. Give it a try for sure!!!
Is everyone rating this so low simply because it was a half episode? Why are ppl acting like they're being misled and rate so low for no other reason? That's like giving poor ratings because there's no subs in your language. Don't be that person! There is another MDL for the full series (which obviously isn't filmed yet).MOVING ON.... I think the 10 minutes we got so far has an interesting plot, good cinematography, and the main actors seem to be on point. I can't wait for the rest of the series!
