Supposedly King Yeonjo was very caring for his people however he still pressured his son a lot, you can see in lady hyengyeong memoirs that the king distanced himself from sado ever since he was little and reprimanded him for everything he did, which eventually drove sado into madness. This actually makes me question whether this king was truly benevolent, and if he was, why couldn't he show that affection towards his own blood? its a really sad story

It is so worth watching, the plot is great, the characters are extremely rich and captivating and the fact that we all know how it will end creates a deeper bond with the prince as we desperately want him to succeed, yet we know he wont and that breaks us. I have cried so many times due to this drama, not only in the sad moments but in the moments of happiness and realization when i realize how this will only increase the ending tragedy. Do watch it, i feel this is the best drama of the year.

i think they will use the debt as a plottwist in ep 2, because the lady didnt explain all the rules

this show is AMAZING, i know i wont end good however the characters are so complex and the acting so captivating that im completely hooked. The king scares me every time and every episode i just want to cry for my poor prince. I recommend it if you can sustain this amount of tension in your system

theres so much tension that romance isnt very important, but up until now there are some hints of romance and sexual frustation

we are supposed to be confused by him, the actor is great he portrays him very well, very complex characterization

i hate this! one of the reasons i watch kdramas is because f the 2 episodes a week trend and this one was quite good

im starting to get the feels for rain and se na. I adore the shiwoo and sena couple however i know it wont end that way and i can finally see some chemistry from rain and sena, so ill go with that ship ( i still have the 2nd lead syndrome)

her role in miracle cell no 7, even if she isn't seen much, she acts well in this one

i think this drama is a challenge for her to prove that she can, lets see what she has, for now i haven't seen anything great from her but i still have some hopes
