I'm really enjoying this series so far! Unpopular opinion maybe, but I'm enjoying it a lot more than Perfect Marriage Revenge. Honestly, I don't think they're that similar because what MC's husband and friend did to her was a lot worse and way more direct than what happened to the MC in PMR.

I definitely think it’s trying to predict what a western audience would want to see. It doesn’t make sense to me because the people I’ve spoken to in the US that enjoy kdramas appreciate that they don’t have the same style as American dramas. I think they’re trying to appeal to people that wouldn’t have watched kdramas otherwise. That’s the same reason I think they did English dubs for them, which most fans I’ve talked to avoid.
As for the shoes, I thought that was meant to show which characters were disrespectful. However, I’m not sure if that missed detail was present in other Netflix produced dramas, so it could’ve been accidental.
