This was so hilarious but also very sad at times. Purely heartwarming, I loved it so much. I'm so glad I finally gave this a shot, easy 10/10 for me.

Beautiful and realistic, I cried like a baby. Obviously I'm sad that some storylines didn't end happily but honestly it was expected that they'll return to their previous lives. I loved it nevertheless. My heart goes to Phiphu, I felt so sad, but I'm happy they at leats had the opportunity to experience something together with Paul. People should definitely give this a go

Yeah, I get that it's not completely same as the manhua/donghua, but it's obvious that there are gonna be some changes - the people who are in charge of costumes/makeup/hair always change cetrain stuff in la, it's never completely same as in other adaptations... and I feel like even though this costume has some differences, it still turned out very well. As for the meaningful things - there are also the butterfly details!! It's so pretyyy :).

True that, it's easier to complain about every little thing than to praise something that genuinely looks good... hopefully, the new things coming will be sattisfying for people

Well, everyone complained about him looking like a ketchup bottle in those plain red robes...now when the new costume is detailed, beautifully embroided and looks great, you complain about it being too much, with too much detailing... it's obviously not going to be the same as the manhua, they are adding their own original ideas into it, but the fact that it's not the 100% same doesn't mean it can't turn out well...

The new hc costume is super prettyyy, the embroidery is so beautifully made... Also, linghe looks extra good in it... And yet I don't see any positive comments about it here on mdl. Like guys, what are you expecting exactly? Cause this is so beautiful, finally it isn't just plain red robes as on the first day...

Of course everyone has their point of view and I completely accept yours. I see where you're coming from but I still think we should all give them a chance and not slander them even before we actually see them acting in their roles. And I'm not saying you are the one who does that, you are stating your point reasonably, but there is so many people who can see only the flaws... but the point is, don't be disappointed even before you see the actual thing... by the constant criticism, people are just gonna disgust the drama for themselves and they won't be even looking forward to it.... And that's just disappointing cause the entire team is surely working hard... and they are getting so much unnecessary hate, although the project barely started. But well, I completely agree about Pei Ming, haha.

I'm also a novel fan - and these 2 actors are absolutely to my expectations. And although I can't deny that xiaowen is still quite a newbie in the industry, linghe isn't. He already played main roles in multiple dramas, so this point of yours isn't really valid. When I saw the complaints, they were almost always about their looks, just check any comment section under posts on instagram, or even here when you scroll more. I absolutely don't mind the fact that some actors in this cast don't have such experiences - cause I mean, how can you expect new actors to gain them if you don't give them roles in dramas?Like, do you want to see those 5 actors all over again in all the dramas you watch? And yeah, iqiyi maybe puts more newbies in their dramas then other platforms, but I personally have no problem with that... I love to see new faces

I don't understand people hating on the cast (especially about xiaowen not being beautiful enough - are you blind?!?!, what are your beauty standards if not him, smh). Just because they aren't the ones you imagined them to be, it doesn't mean they won't do a great job... I personally think they both fit their roles so well. I'm so excited that this novel is finally coming to life!!!!

I've been living under a rock and watched it just now, although I came across it multiple times before. And I absolutely loved it, I need Japan to produce more series like this... Also saw the movie just now, both are amazing :)).
