I feel like the drama changed its vibe entirely after Mu Qi Bai was gone. I had the same feeling when watching Legend of Zang Hai and he killed the first villain. It wasn’t the same afterwards:(

No. I feel the same. I think it will take me a really long time to get over her as Ming Yi. And I saw her in Blossoms of Adversity and Perfect Match but didn’t have this problem, although I loved her in both those roles. (also, republican era dramas are not my favorite 😓)
